Designed as an imaginary journey behind the scenes of the film, this interactive audio tour immerses you in secret, captivating world of the 7th Art with the creation of a film through a series of sets: projection room, principal's office, film set… It is also a unique opportunity to go behind the scenes of a monument of French heritage rich in history and boasting its original decor since 1932. What you can expect? Do it like “Zorbas the Greek” in the famous film and follow us to a memorable evening full of music and rhythm. Get in the mood and warm up your legs with a short walk through the scenic Areopagitou Street to finally end up to the beautiful theatre where your Greek folk dance class will take place. Our fun and professional dance teacher will take you in a journey to the culture and history behind the Greek folk dances, introducing you smoothly to the energy you need to feel in every step of each dance. Join the dancing circle and hold each other’s hands to follow the steps of the most popular Greek folk dances like “kalamatianos”, “syrtos” and –of course- the very famous “syrtaki”. Having worked your legs off, your dancing adventure will lead you to a traditional place where you will have fun the way Greeks do. With an amazing view of the illuminated Acropolis, you get the chance to experience an original Greek feast or “glendi” in Greek: delicious dinner, punchy wine, Greek music and great company of warmhearted locals will fill up your evening with lots of laughter and dance. Your Hot Air Balloon adventure begins when you meet your Pilot and Flight Crew. The flights meet approximately a 1/2 hour before sunrise. At the launch site, your flight crew will brief you on your upcoming balloon adventure. Then, you will watch with awe as your balloon takes shape before your eyes, ultimately standing more than 10 stories tall. Once fully inflated and ready for take off, you climb into the gondola and begin the adventure of a lifetime. During your flight you will get a spectacular bird's eye view of the gorgeous Red Rock Mountains and the famous Las Vegas Strip. You will drift silently over the Vegas Valley with 360 degree, unobstructed views of the world famous Las Vegas Strip, Red Rock Conservation Area and surrounding suburbs. After drifting serenely for approximately an hour you prepare for landing. Once on the ground, you will indulge in the oldest of ballooning traditions, a champagne toast, and revel in the peace, tranquility and beauty that you never before knew existed. For ballooning light winds are required, good visibility and no precipitation. You will fly at approximately 1000 feet. The flights are approximately one hour in length, however you are required you for up to 4 hours in total for the entire adventure. Since you will fly with the prevailing winds, the flight patterns and landing sites vary due to the changing wind directions. There is very little feeling of movement or sensation of height. Our Safety Pledge Your safety is our main concern, so we reserve the right to cancel a flight due to adverse weather conditions or safety reasons. All flights must adhere to all FAA safety standards for passenger-carrying commercial balloon operations. We don’t anticipate flight delays, however if the pilot requires more time to see how the weather is developing, it is possible that your flight might be put on hold. If that happens, you will be instructed to phone back at a later time that day for an update. *Please note all passengers must have a signed liability waiver in order to fly.  **Please also note that ballooning is extremely weather dependent.  We require less than 8 knots of wind, in addition to no impending storms.  Safety is our number one pirority.  Vegas Balloon Rides reserves the right to cancel a flight due to weather conditions or other safety reasons that could affect the safety of the flight.   Passenger Limitations:  Passengers must be in good physical condition.  All passengers must be able to climb in and out of the basket, stand for the entire flight and walk out of a field if necessary.  We cannot fly any passenger who has had recent surgery, injuries, hip, back, or knee problems.  Health concerns, physical limitations, is/or may be pregnant or has severe auditory restrictions.  Please note:  Children must be a minimum of 10 years of age and accompanied by an adult. 

There are 6 color coded course that get progressively more challenging as you go:
Green = Minimum Elevation/Minimum Skill
Blue = Medium Elevation/ Medium Skill
Silver = Advanced Elevation/Medium Skill
Red = Advanced Elevation/Advanced Skill
Tickets and Height Requirement Notes Kids 7-11 Children on these courses are required to be able to reach the tips of their fingers to a height of 4’7″ (140cm) while keeping their feet flat on the ground Junior 9  Height Requirement: Adventurers on the Junior Course are required to be able to reach the tips of their fingers to a height of 5’9″ (175cm) while keeping their feet flat on the ground. Adult 12  Height Requirement: Adult Course adventure seekers are required to be able to reach the tips of their fingers to a height of 5’11” (180cm) while keeping their feet flat on the ground (An adult 18 must accompany any minors 12-14 on the Adult courses) What To Wear Long hair MUST be tied back so as not to get caught on any equipment.  Sturdy closed-toed sport sandals/shoes/boots are required and should be worn securely.  NO jewelry. Necklaces/bracelets can get caught in equipment.  Avoid loose clothing. Fitted apparel, worn tight to the body is best to climb. Note: Guests not wearing the appropriate clothing may be refused access to activities to ensure that safety guidelines are met.   DON’T FORGET WAIVERS: Please fill out your waiver so you can experience the thrill of our tree top adventure. All Climbers must have signed waiver. UNDER 18: Waiver must be signed by a parent or legal guardian.  SAFETY EQUIPMENT- Climbers must have a 44 inch waist or smaller to be able to use our required safety equipment. WEIGHT LIMIT There is no weight limit to participate on our courses.

See the ornate City Hall and the San Francisco Symphony Hall. The tour then climbs up the historic Nob Hill for a stunning close up view of the magnificent Grace Cathedral. The tour makes its way across the grand Bay Bridge for picturesque views of the city skyline from Treasure Island, site of the 1939’s World Fair. Heading back into the city, the tour will continue along the Embarcadero to view the glittering lights on the Port of San Francisco. Discover distinctive boutiques, wide selection of restaurants and cafes, and unique art galleries. Relax in the park, or explore the narrow streets in the hills of this quaint Mediterranean town. Duration: 30 minutes   Operates: 9:00am –5:00pm   Frequency: 20-30 minutes / Departs stop from Stop 12   WALKING TOURS    Chinatown  Walking  Tour:  (Tour begins at Stop #6 - operates daily @ 10:00 & 14:00) Walk  through  the  world  famous  historic  neighborhood.  See  the magnificent Chinatown gates, the busy marketplace and the vibrant mix of historical and modern day culture.         Northbeach Walking Tour:  (Tour begins at Stop #3 - operates daily @ 16:00) This tour will take you on a journey through the eclectic Little  Italy district.  From Washington Square Park to  the incredible St. Peter & Paul Church, the tour will leave you  with a taste of the bohemian lifestyle that inspired so many of the artistically gifted San Franciscans of previous generations.   Barbary Coast  Walking  Tour: (Tour begins at Stop #4 - operates daily @ 12:00) Tour  takes  you  through  a  nine  block  radius  of  what  was  once  the  haunt  of  the low and vile.  Hear about San Francisco’s small beginnings, its boom-town  growth  because  of  the  California Gold  Rush  and  the  end  of  The  Barbary  Coast  due  to  the  Red  Light  Abatement  Act.  The  walk  will  take  you through the present Financial District and Jackson Square Historic District.   Fisherman’s Wharf Walking Tour:  (Tour begins at Stop #1 - operates daily @ 14:00) The Fisherman’s Wharf walking tour takes you all the main attractions of the  Wharf  area,  including  Ghirardelli  Square,  the  Cannery  and  Pier  39.  See  and  learn  about  the  famous  food and  restaurants  and  the  historic  ships  at Aquatic  Park.  This  walk  will  familiarize  you  with  role  the  wharf  has played  in  the  history  of  the  city—from the Gold rush, through the labor struggles of the 1930’s and the psychedelic explorations of the 1960’s.

Our first stop on this wonderful day tour is the famous Ghost Town of Rhyolite, a long abandoned gold mining community and the set for many movies and documentaries. Next is the wonderful panorama from Hell's Gate then to Badwater at 282 feet below sea level. We also visit Zabriskie's Point and the Devil's Gold Course, Furnace Creek Museum, the Salt Lake, the Sand Dunes and Artists Pallet.
