ITINERARY: Day 1 (L): Pick up at hotel and drive to Mekong Delta. Enjoying 4 – hour boat trip and rowing boat trip in small canals to visit An Binh Island. Have a short walk around village, visit some local workshops, coconut factory and ancient house. Lunch served at a local garden. Continue boat trip to Vinh Long then drive to Can Tho. Free for night discovery in Can Tho. Day 2 (B/L): After breakfast at hotel, take a motor boat to visit Cai Rang – the most fascinating floating market where we can see all trading activities in Mekong river. Continue to Ba Cong orchard garden, walk around to see the colorful local life, visit Muni Rangsay pagoda. Before back to Sai Gon, we will visit Vinh Trang Pagoda which is one of Vietnam popular destinations. Lunch served on the way back to HCM. Your Journey: Departing from Queenstown, a knowledgeable driver will provide an informative commentary on the points of interest along one of the world’s most picturesque drives – The Milford Road. Stop for some great photo opportunities along the way, before enjoying a two hour cruise aboard one of our specially designed small boats in Milford Sound. Sit back and relax as your cruise departs from the Milford Sound Wharf, and makes its way out past the iconic Mitre Peak. Evoke your five senses as you take in the sights of this majestic region, feel the spray of Fairy Falls and listen to the sound of nature thriving in its natural habitat. Departure point: The old port in Fira The old port in Fira is accessible only: By cable car: It is perfectly safe, it consists of 6 wagons and has capacity of 6 persons per wagon. During high season (April-October) it runs every 20 minutes. Single tickets cost €5 for adults and €2.50 for children. On foot: You would need to walk down the famous 600 steps of the traditional road that connects the old port with the town of Fira. The descend takes about 20-30 minutes, depending on your physical condition. By donkey: The donkeys used to be the traditional transportation way of the island. They go up and down to the old port of Fira frequently. A single ride costs around €5 per person and takes about 20 minutes. Most people prefer to take the donkey on their way up.
