Benidorm Palace is proud to present a new and exciting revue show for the 2018 / 2019 season – ALEGRIAS. ALEGRIAS is a flamenco musical form and above all it can be translated as MERRIMENT and JOY With a cast of 50 talented artists the show will transport you to the excitement of a Las Vegas casino, the colours and cheerfulness of Bollywood, the rhythms and Alegrias of a Tablao in Cordoba and the vibrant merriment of a Tropical feather finale. The show features the talents of singers, dancers, live musicians, acrobats, Argentinian Gauchos, comics, jugglers and the featured magician – David Climent who stars in a thrilling number of magic to make way for the grand finale of the Show.  These Alegrias conclude with the glamour of the renowned Benidorm Palace dancers and the vibrant merriment of a Tropical feather finale. This perfect evening’s entertainment is matched with the delicious dinner that accompanies the show.

Our first stop is the world famous Rock and Roll hot spot, “Guitar Center” located on the legendary Sunset Blvd. Guitar Center is the nucleus of the Rock & Roll World with hand prints in concrete and bronze plaques of all the music greats. Next we arrive at the one and only “Hollywood Boulevard’s Walk of Fame.” This is the “Center of Hollywood” where you have ample time to visit the Kodak Theater (Dolby Theater) & Chinese Theater (homes of the Oscars with movie stars handprints forever in concrete) as well as the stunningly ornate Roosevelt Hotel where stars and famous people are often seen having lunch; the Hollywood Wax Museum; Ripley’s Believe It or Not; Madame Tussauds; American Cinematheque & Egyptian Theater. Stars such as Tom Cruise, Madonna, Jennifer Aniston, Jennifer Lopez, Jack Nicholson and so many others live in the magnificent mansions throughout this area and are seen regularly. Romantically stroll along Hollywood Boulevard’s Walk of Fame with the stars at your feet; find your favorite star and take a photo. You also have a wonderful view of the iconic “Hollywood Sign” from the Patio of the Kodak Theater. Don’t forget to pick up a souvenir at one of the many gift shops in this area. Most of our time is spent in the wonderful Hollywood Blvd., area but we still see great views of many famous film locations, the Landmark Biltmore Hotel, Magic Castle, Hollywood United Methodist Church, Warner Brothers Studios & Soundstages, Walt Disney Studios, where most of the classic animated movies were made such as Snow White & the Seven Dwarfs, Mary Poppins, Armageddon & the Pirates of the Caribbean, to mention only a few. We also see Pixar Entertainment and ABC Studios alongside Disney. Welcome to Hollywood, the Movie, Music and “Movie Star” capitol of the world! TOUR DETAILS Slow down while enjoying the fresh, high desert air and canyon vistas during a walk along the Grand Canyon rim. As you explore, your Pink Adventure Tour guide will suggest the best places on the Trail of Time to photograph breathtaking vistas and capture views of the ever-changing scenes. Your guide will teach you how to identify local plant species, fossils and wildlife. This is an exclusive experience that you can’t find anywhere else. A relatively new feature at the South Rim is the Trail of Time. You’ll stroll along this paved pathway between Yavapai Point and Grand Canyon Village. Read the corresponding exhibits to gain a new perspective on the age of the Grand Canyon and the forces that created it. Hands-on displays allow you to feel the texture of rocks as old as 1.7 billion years. Your guide will explain the “birthdays” of rocks in the canyon’s layers and how to identify details like algal reefs and mud cracks as you peer into the canyon through scopes. Total distance of this walk is 3 miles. Stop into the Yavapai Geology Museum for even more geologic education with films, artwork and 3D models. You’ll survey the canyon through panoramic windows while your Certified Interpretive Guide simplifies the details with anecdotes and humor that bring the past to life. The Trail of Time ends at Grand Canyon Village where you can experience the area’s human history. You’ll see architecturally significant places like El Tovar, which was once considered the most luxurious hotel west of the Mississippi. Hopi House was the first building by Mary Coulter, an influential and skilled Southwest architect. See artifacts and shop for keepsakes or artwork before making the drive back in our Pink® Jeep® Wrangler.  In addition to park admissions fees, your tour includes a viewing of Grand Canyon: The Hidden Secrets. This popular IMAX movie features stunning aerial footage of inaccessible places deep below the rim. You’ll also hear stories about the explorers and native peoples of yesteryear.
