From discovering the unique Vapour Infusion distillation process in the Dakin Still House, to exploring the ten exotic botanicals nurtured in the stunning glasshouses.  Visitors can also uncover the history of both Laverstoke Mill and Bombay Sapphire, explore the local conservation area and complete the experience with Bombay Sapphire cocktails in the Mill Bar. Laverstoke Mill is a site steeped in natural beauty and elegance. Astride the crystal clear River Test, situated within a Conservation Area and Site of Special Scientific Interest (SSSI) in rural Hampshire just 60 miles from London. The striking redesign of the distillery is in part the inspiration of the acclaimed London designers at Heatherwick Studio. The careful renovation included a number of beautiful Victorian and Georgian buildings restored to their former glory. The site has been awarded the highly prestigious BREEAM (Building Research Establishment’s Environmental Assessment Method) Award for Sustainable Industrial Design.

Dichtes, dunkles Kirschrot mit purpurnen Glanzlichtern. In der Nase dominieren frische rote Fruchtaromen neben feinen würzigen Noten von Nelken und Kardamom, die dem Bouquet eine beinahe Zen-artige Balance verleihen. Am Gaumen saftig, vielschichtig, reif, lebendig und sehr verführerisch mit mittlerem Körper und samtweichem Tannin, der duftigen Frucht von Kirschen und Schwarzen Johannisbeeren, den feinen Röstaromen der Eiche, den würzigen Noten von Nelken und Kardamom, die wir bereits aus dem Bouquet kennen... dies alles sehr sanft und harmonisch miteinander verschmolzen, um im Finale sehr lange nachzuhallen. Passt zu: knusprig gegrilltem Hühnchen, gebratener Entenbrust oder Putenfleisch mit Lebkuchen-Gewürzen, gegrilltem Schweinefilet mit Kräutern der Provence, mediterranen Fleisch- und Gemüsegerichten Kichererbsen, Auberginen, Tomaten, Paprika... oder auch zu mittelkräftigem Käse.
