Dieser kraftvolle Barolo wurde während zwei Jahren zu 80 Proz. im grossen Eichenfass und zu 20 Proz. im Barrique ausgebaut. Ein grosser Barolo im klassischen Granatkleid, in dessen Duftkomposition das süsse Aroma der Eiche sowie die Himbeer- und Veilchennoten einen symphonischen Gleichklang ergeben, reich, fein und elegant. Der 2001er erhielt vom Gambero Rosso 2006 die Höchstnote von drei Gläsern. Passt zu gebratener Taubenbrust mit Trüffelsauce oder Hasenrücken mit Maronen.
