The ancient Romans had already discovered the healing effects of the thermal springs on the area we call Budapest today. The bath culture however only started to develop during the Turkish times. The Szechenyi Bath is Budapest’s largest thermal spring bath, which was built in 1913 in Neo-Baroque style. Its thermal spring is one of the deepest and warmest in the city. It is situated in the City Park, opposite the City Circus and it can be reached by metro line M1 (the name of the station is Szechenyi fürdõ). It is the largest and most important of all the thermal spas on the Pest side, with its numerous indoor and outdoor pools.

The stunning scenery will continue to amaze you as you arrive at the lake, Here you will have time to look around and to take a one hour trip in a kayak. Life jackets are provided and you can sail out and enjoy the surroundings, or, if you like you can stop off on a small island and have a rest. There are plenty of seats and a small cafe where you can buy drinks or snacks and the area is alive with people enjoying the good weather and the beautiful surroundings. The Siurana Lake is surrounded by spectacular sceneries of the Montsant Range It’s near Prades, a wine land, olive oil land and hazelnut bushes. After enjoying your time on the lake and you have taken lots of fantastic photos, it will be time to head back to your hotel. Your trip ends with a gift of a bottle of wine and a lot of happy memories. This is a wonderful private excursion exclusively for you and your family. Back at the harbour you will be ready to enjoy a fun cruise where there will be games and a treasure hunt for your children and you can lie back and enjoy the weather as they play on the boat. A music quiz for the adults and lots of funny stories from the crew. The animation team will keep the kids occupied with the treasure hunt and face painting too. You will stop out at sea when you have the opportunity to swim and snorkel [ optional], this is where the splash comes in as you jump or dive from the boat. There is a free bar and drinks are available throughout the trip on the Dorimar II, a 3 tier glass bottom catamaran, with great views of the sea below. Free bar includes lager, sangria, soft drinks and cava, so no need to be thirsty either. Although not a regular occurence, dolphins have been spotted in the sea and if you are really lucky,,,,,,,you could even catch sight of them!
