One of the highlights is the themed exhibition 2018: “World of Claws”. It shows crustaceans from close proximity and in full action. And you’ll be able to get closer to them than ever before. Many of our creatures are on the endangered list, have been rescued and cannot be released into the wild or have been born and bred as part of our SEA LIFE conservation projects. At the end of your visit, you will see another highlight: the ride in a glass elevator through the AquaDom – the world’s largest, freestanding, cylindrical aquarium with 1 million litres of saltwater. Your entire experience will be approximately 1 hour which includes check-in, safety briefing, and 15 – 17 minute helicopter flight. The customer experience center includes; a Chicago history exhibit, flight simulator, helipad viewing lounge, interactive games, and snacks & refreshments available for purchase.  Chicago Helicopter Experience operates a fleet of Airbus AStar helicopters. The aircraft accommodates up to 6 guests plus a pilot per flight and is climate controlled. All admission is timed ticket entry. Guests experience a program titled “Voices,” which tells the personal stories of the men and women who built One World Trade Center. Next, “Foundations” provides Guests with a close up view of the very bedrock on which the building stands. Guests board one of five dedicated elevators to ascend to the 102nd floor in under 60 seconds. Immersive, floor-to-ceiling LED technology in each cab invites Guests to experience a virtual time-lapse that recreates the development of New York City’s skyline from the 1500s to present day. Guests take in an exciting, two-minute video presentation that combines bird’s eye imagery, time-lapse shots with abstract textures and patterns to present the unique rhythm and pulse of New York City to dramatic life in three dimensions. As a keeper for a day you will help with everything from preparing diets, feeding our animals, as well as training and enrichment with our exotic animals.
