Cette levure intervient dans la fabrication de la biere. Elle participe a la fermentation en se nourrissant du support nutritif compose de malt (orge) et de houblon sur lequel elle se multiplie. En fin de fermentation, elle est filtree, sechee puis valorisee sous forme de paillettes pour faciliter son utilisation au quotidien. La richesse du milieu nutritif sur lequel elle se developpe lui confere une concentration unique en proteines, vitamines et mineraux et en fait un ingredient nutritionnel. Pour les vegetariens et les vegetaliens, elle apporte des proteines de qualite. Elle est une source de bien-etre et de vitalite grace aux vitamines B2, B5, B6, et B9 qui contribuent a reduire la fatigue. La levure est un atout beaute grace a sa richesse en vitamines B2, B3 et en zinc. Les 3 oligo-elements contribuent au maintien d une peau normal. Le zinc contribue aussi au maintien des cheveux et des ongles normaux.
