NL 2 empfiehlt sich für Normalobjektive mit Naheinstellung bis ca. 50 cm oder für Teleobjektive, wenn NL ¡ nicht mehr ausreicht. NL 3 erlaubt noch weitergehende Naheinstellung, wenn auch NL 2 für Teleobjektive noch zu wenig bringt, und für Weitwinkelobjektive, die sich bis ca. 35 cm einstellen lassen.
