Den Syrah liefert das heisse, trockene Malmesbury im Swartland nördlich von Kapstadt. Der Grenache kommt von den ältesten Reben dieser Sorte in Südafrika, die in Citrusdal auf sehr sandigen Böden am Fusse der Cederberg Mountains stehen. Der Cinsault wird alten Buschreben abgetrotzt, die in Granitböden bei Wellington wurzeln. Cabernet Sauvignon und Viognier stammen von den biologisch bewirtschafteten Lagen direkt beim Weingut in Franschhoek. Jede der Rebsorten liefert ihren Beitrag zur grossen Faszination dieses enorm substanzreichen und einzigartigen Gewächses.
