Stress Free Travel around the city with a Paris Visite Pass
Organising your transport around Paris between attractions can be stressful and time consuming. That’s why every Paris Pass includes a Travelcard called the Paris Visite Pass.
The Visite Pass gives you unlimited access to the cities public transport network including:
• Paris Metro trains
• Paris RER over ground trains
• Bus network
• Trams
• SNCF Overland Suburban Trains
• The Montmartre Funicular
This Travelcard is another useful tool to help you make the most of your sightseeing experience. With access to all of the transport systems above you won’t need worry about how you are going to get to the next attraction and back to the hotel afterwards. Also, with this in hand you won’t have a queue up for travel tickets anywhere in Paris, saving you time and the hassle of carrying cash. There is a detailed map of Paris’ transport system in the back of every guidebook.
Activation of your Paris Pass
Your Paris Pass is activated the first time that you use it, but to begin using it you must first sign and date the Paris Pass, Paris Museums and Monuments Pass and the Paris Visite Travelcard.
In addition you must write the serial number of the Paris Visite Travelcard on the ticket that is passed through the ticket machine. The card and ticket must be kept together at all times and both must be shown in the case of inspection.
Validity of your Paris Pass
After activation your Paris Pass remains valid for the duration that you have purchased. It is valid on consecutive days and at the end of the validity period, will no longer entitle you to free entry at attractions or transport. If for example, you used a four day pass for the first time on Monday, your pass will cease working at the end of Thursday, regardless of how often you have used it in between.
It is important to note that a ‘day’ is based on a calendar day, so should you use your pass at 4pm on Monday, Monday is counted as day one of your pass usage.

Tour of Caldera on a Sailing Boat + Bus Transfers

Highlights Sail on a traditional wooden boat and tour the islands of the Caldera! Description The bus leaves from the head offices in the town of Fira and transfers you to the port of Athinios. The boat departs from the old port of Fira and heads towards the volcanic island of Nea Kameni, which lies just 10 minutes away from the bay of Fira. The boat will remain there for 1 hour 15 mins. This gives you plenty of time to walk up to the volcano’s active craters and take photos- it takes about 20 mins. It is worth reaching the top to experience the smoke evaporating and the sulfur's intense smell, when you scratch the volcano’s surface. The next stop is the island of Palaia Kameni where the Hot Springs are located. The boat anchors a few meters outside the small bay of Agios Nikolaos, it lowers down a ladder in the water and you will have 30 mins for a revitalising swim! You can swim a distance of about 30 meters into the famous mud baths of Palaia Kameni which are believed to have beneficial abilities for skin and other diseases. The water temperature is 30-35 degrees Celsius, but it is constantly mixed with sea water. The island of Thirassia is the next destination of your sailing tour, where you will have 2 hours free time to swim in the crystal waters of Korfos or to taste the local dishes in one of the traditional taverns.You can walk or take a donkey ride to the nearby picturesque village of Manolas with its narrow streets - the view from there to Santorini is definitely worth a visit. During the return journey to the Old Port in Fira, you will experience sailing near the volcanic cliffs of Oia for a chance to capture with your camera the unique scenery. The bus will wait for you at Athinios Port to return and transfer you back to Fira Central Square. The Colosseum has changed its admission policy to ensure that only 3,000 people are allowed within the amphitheater at any given time, meaning much less crowding during busy periods. Although the tickets are pre-booked with Skip the Line access, this may mean a slight delay on entering if capacity has already been reached. It is expected that the instances of this will be limited but ask for your patience if you travel on a busy day and are affected by this unavoidable circumstance. In all, it should make for a much nicer experience for all (and longer general access lines!). On the first Sunday of every month, entrance to the Colosseum is free to the public. Guests travelling on a Walks of Italy tour on this day will receive a refund of their ticket price after their tour. Please note that, due to restrictions allowing fewer people inside the amphitheater than usual, there may be a slight delay in entry time on these days. The Colosseum is subject to occasional closures. The Colosseum administration is usually aware of this and informs us the day before or of a given closure.
