Feel the rhythms, embrace the colors and savor the patterns found only underwater. Experience a world worth celebrating – and saving.   Waters of the World Travel the world in 80 habitats. Dive into Oceans, from coastal kelp forests to the seafloor. Explore the self-contained ecosystems of Islands and Lakes. Visit Rivers—big and small—and learn more about our local waters in the new At Home on the Great Lakes exhibit. Meet hundreds of amazing animals, from tiny mantella frogsto a a giant octopus, from a Grand Cayman blue iguana to Nile knifefish, and from moon jellies to sea stars. We even have map turtles, in case you get lost. Caribbean Reef Take a 360-degree tour of an underwater reef community. Follow a green sea turtle. Peek at a moray eel in a rocky crevice. Watch regal rays glide by. Get eye-to-eye with parrot fish and sharks. Visit Caribbean Reef, Shedd’s award-winning 90,000-gallon circular habitat in the grand rotunda. Amazon Rising Take an exotic journey in the Amazon, home to one-third of all living things. Watch out for anacondas and piranhas, spiders, rays and a camouflaged caiman. In churning river channels, still lakes and even flooded treetops look for tetras, turtles and fruit-eating fish called tambaqui. See how the region’s animals, plants and people adapt to the water’s dramatic annual rise and fall. Abbott Oceanarium The Abbott Oceanarium immerses you in the vibrant coastal ecosystem of beluga whales, Pacific white-sided dolphins, sea otters and sea lions. You’ll also find a host of fishes and invertebrates that make their homes where freshwater flows into the ocean or where tides turn seascapes to landscapes and back again each day. Use our self-guided map to discover how animals are linked to each other, their homes and you. Polar Play Zone Kids have a place at Shedd that they can call their own—Polar Play Zone. It’s cool as ice and twice as nice! The penguins think so, too. Play! Splash! Pretend! What would you like to be? A sleek sliding penguin? A deep-sea explorer? How about both? In Polar Play Zone, you can slip into a penguin suit and try being a bird in the Icy South play area. From there, head to the Icy North to explore the belugas’ Arctic waters in a kid-sized submarine. Don’t forget to shake hands—or is it arms?—with colorful sea stars in the touch pools. In Polar Play Zone, you’ll learn about polar opposites—big and small, fast and slow, shallow and deep, even north and south—while you play. The Oceanarium Aquatic Presentation​ is included however based on available seating and remaining show times at the time of guest arrival. Shedd Aquarium) contains over 25,000 fish, and was for some time the largest indoor aquarium in the world with 5,000,000 US gallons of water. The Shedd Aquarium, which opened on May 30, 1930, was the first inland aquarium with a permanent saltwater fish collection. Located on the shores of Lake Michigan, Shedd Aquarium brings you eye-to-eye with more than 32,500 aquatic animals. Explore the recreated environments of the Amazon River and Philippine coral reefs. Ticket Details - Customers must print their confirmation vouchers/Tickets and take it with them. - You will then need to take the voucher to the entrance to gain entry to the Attraction. Purchasers will then be given an allocated time within 45 minutes of their arrival to return to the attraction, or a later time of your choice, subject to availability. - All Merlin Attractions reserve the right to alter, close or remove details/exhibits without prior notice - A tour of Shrek’s Adventure can hold a maximum of 40 people, if your group contains more than 40 people they will be split across 2 tours. Height restrictions; a) The magic bus – minimum height to ride is 0.9m - Children under the age of 14 must be accompanied by an adult 18 years or over. - Merlin reserves the right to change and alter the height restrictions and age limits at any time and for any reason. - The attraction is wheelchair accessible. The bus ride will only be accessible to guests who are mobile enough to get on the bus. There is a maximum of 2 wheelchair users allowed in the attraction at any one time. Guests with a disability pay the standard price and their carer is free of charge. - Unfortunately childrens pushchairs are not allowed in the venue. 

This easy walking tour is perfect for both first time visitors and for Beatles fans. With it's starting point less than a 5-minute walk from Liverpool cruise terminal, it is also an ideal shore excursion.  The tours are led by a fun, local guide and once bookings have reached a certain size, an extra guide will be used. What to Expect: Check-in: You will be greeted by our friendly staff who will help you to book flights and answer any questions. You will then be asked to fill out a waiver and will be introduced to your flight instructor. Briefing/Training: The flight instructor will instruct you about the process of the flight, as well as the rules and safety standards. You will be shown flying postures to acquire during the flight. A quick video will be played to first time flyers in addition to the training from the instructor. Gear Up: The flight instructor will give the you all the flying gear necessary and show you how to properly use it. Flight: At the beginning, the flight instructor will help you to get adjusted to the wind flow. When you are accustomed to it, the instructor will help you safely fly in the wind stream. If you can fly well, the instructor will rise with you in the air up to 10 feet in height. You cannot fly if you have severe joint injuries or fractures, have injuries restricting the movement of your back or other places, are pregnant, have epilepsy, are under the influence of alcohol and / or drugs. From Edinburgh you will travel north-west, passing Stirling Castle, before making your first stop at Kilmahog. Here there will be a break for some light refreshments and the chance to see some Highland cattle up close. Next you travel onwards through Rob Roy Country of Clans MacGregor and Campbell, then over the dramatic landscape of Rannoch Moor to Glencoe, one of Scotland’s most famous glens, site of the 1692 massacre of the Clan MacDonald. Here you can pause for a photo stop and to soak up the atmosphere in this haunting glen.  Continuing via Loch Linnhe, stopping in the Fort William area for lunch, then journey onwards, passing beneath Britain’s highest mountain, Ben Nevis, before we enter the natural beauty of the Great Glen. Travelling on, you can admire the Caledonian Canal and the pretty village of Fort Augustus, enjoying spectacular views of Loch Ness, as you drive along the shoreline to Urquhart Castle.  Loch Ness, 24 miles long and over 700 feet deep, is most famous for sightings of the Loch Ness monster, affectionately known as “Nessie”. You will spend 2 hours at Loch Ness, where you can choose to explore the ruins of Urquhart Castle*, learn of its history inside the modern visitor centre, and take an Award Winning Jacobite cruise* across the loch.  Passing through Inverness, Capital of the Highlands, you start your return for home, crossing the Grampian Mountains and the woodland scenery of Perthshire, including the Forest of Atholl, before enjoying an evening refreshment stop at the Victorian resort town of Pitlochry, en route back to Edinburgh. *OPTIONAL EXTRA.
