Life jackets are complimentary and available at towel rental locations. Life jackets are required for all swimmers under 48”/1.2m and recommended for weak or inexperienced swimmers of all ages. All swimmers under 48”/1.2m should be kept within arm's reach of a responsible adult whenever in the water. Intoxicated guests will be refused entry to Aquaventure Water Park. Children should be supervised at all times by a responsible adult.  Lifeguards are present for the safety of all guests but there is no substitute for constant supervision of the children and others. Eye-glasses and jewellery should be removed prior to riding.  Aquaventure attractions are not recommended for expectant mothers, persons with a history of neck, back, joint or heart problems, or persons overweight or with physically limiting conditions. Guests with injuries (casts, bandages, etc) or contagious diseases are not permitted on the attractions. Swim nappies for babies and young children must be worn within pools and are available in all gift shops within the park.  Please wear appropriate swimwear at all times. Inappropriate swimwear includes but not limited to the following:  Thongs Underwear on its own Street Clothes Clothing with rivets, buckles or exposed metal Long, loose – fitting clothing Any garments deemed inappropriate by Atlantis Management We request that Aquaventure guests observe and respect cultural sensitivities which relate to this part of the world. Visitors are not allowed to bring food or beverage, glassware or alcohol into Aquaventure. Aquaventure reserves the right to inspect all bags for any such items

Opened to the public in February 2000, the Rose Center for Earth and Space is one of the most ambitious projects in the history of the Museum. It contains five exhibition spaces, including the Hall of Planet Earth, the Hall of the Universe, the Cosmic Pathway, Scales of the Universe, and the Hayden Planetarium. Bathed in natural light, the spectacular seven story structure is an architectural marvel. The luminous 2,000 ton (1,800- metric-ton) Hayden Sphere, which appears to float behind one of the largest suspended glass curtain walls in the United States—almost an acre (4,000 square meters) of astoundingly clear “water white” glass held together with 2.5 miles (4 kilometers) of rod rigging and 1,400 steel spiders. Organizing cosmic objects around the physical principles that unite them, the Rose Center creates a seamless journey from the outer reaches of the universe to the inner workings of planet Earth. The American Museum of Natural History is a must-see, especially if you're traveling with children, since many of the exhibits appeal to a person's sense of wonder and curiosity. The highly experiential exhibition Our Senses delves into how our brains work with sensory organs to shape our perceptions and reveals how, until recently in our evolutionary history, humans have been oblivious to nature’s other crucial signals, including UV light, infrared sounds, and electrical fields. Unseen Oceans: March 12, 2018–January 6, 2019 Oceans explores our blue planet’s defining feature—the world ocean—as revealed through 21st-century technology. Visitors to the exhibition will meet the elusive giants of the sea, including whales, sharks, giant squid; sink beneath the waves in a virtual submersible theater; and marvel at the vivid fluorescence displayed by marine creatures but invisible to us . . . until now. And they’ll leave with a deeper awareness that the future of the planet depends on the future of the ocean. The Butterfly Conservatory (October 7th, 2017 - May 29th, 2019) This exhibition, an annual favorite, features up to 500 live, free-flying tropical butterflies from the Americas, Africa, and Asia. The butterflies are housed in a vivarium that approximates their natural habitat, includes live flowering plants that serve as nectar sources, and features controlled artificial light, temperature, and humidity. T. rex: The Ultimate Predator: (March 11, 2019 - June 16th, 2019) This exhibition will focus on the on the genus of dinosaurs known as tyrannosaurs. The exhibition will explore how these mega-predators came to be, with an emphasis on the most famous and impressive member of the family, Tyrannosaurus rex. Updated Climate Change Exhibit Understand one of the most urgent scientific issues of our time. explore how climate change is affecting the world today as well as what might happen in the future if the current course continues. How Does The Barcelona Pass Work? The Barcelona Pass works through a scan and barcode system and will become activated after first use at an attraction. The pass, in 2 or 3 day options, works on calendar day basis after first activation, so it’s best practice to start using your pass first thing in the morning to make full use of each day. The passes are valid at each attraction and tour included only once. Adult passes are for anyone over the age of 12 and child passes are for 4 - 12 year olds.
