Last year over 1,000,000 visitors hiked Diamond Head making it Oahu’s 3rd largest visitor attraction. Diamond Head State Monument is one of Hawaii’s most recognized landmarks and for decades, visitors have hiked to the summit of Diamond Head to enjoy the breathtaking views of Oahu. Diamond Head State Monument is maintained by Hawaii’s State Parks and is a popular historic trail that offers a memorable Hawaiian adventure for the entire family. The Diamond Head hike takes about 2 hours; is considered a “moderate” 1.6 mile hike, with 327 concrete and metal stairs to conquer. Easily one of the best art museum in the world, with works spanning 6 continents and over 6,000 years, the Metropolitan Museum of Art is so vast you could easily spend days inside.  If you don’t have days to spare, our Met Express Tour cuts to the core, taking you straight to the collection’s highlights in just 2 hours.  The vastness of the Met collection is what makes it special, so we’ve carefully planned an itinerary to show you a broad spectrum of art, sculpture, jewels, artifacts and even architecture.  Traveling in small groups of 15 people or fewer, with an expert guide, you’ll traverse the globe without leaving Central Park.  Our tour starts in Ancient Egypt, beholding perfectly preserved ancient Egyptian tomb models.  See tiny dioramas that show what life was like in the times of Tutankhamen and learn about the fascinating burial rituals of the era.  You’ll understand a little more of this at our next stop, Egyptian mummies and “William,” the Met’s “mascot.”  Next, onto a prize jewel of the Met Museum, the Temple of Dendur, an Ancient Egyptian Temple right smack in the middle of Central Park.  New York City can thank Jackie O for helping procure this magnificent work, as rumor has it, for cultural and personal reasons.  Your guide will give the gossip along with the art. More rumors abound at two of the next pieces we see – the armor of Britain’s infamous King Henry VIII, and the Antioch Chalice, purported by some as, ‘The Holy Grail.” We’ll see more ancient works of Greek statuary and Roman frescoes before moving to the exotic, with a stop in Papua New Guinea.  The Met houses a number of beautifully carved Bisj poles, collected by a Rockefeller – at the cost of his life.  We’ll then head to the second floor to soak in some of Claude Monet’s famous Water Lillies, be energized by the expressive works of Vincent Van Gogh, and be inspired by a bronze of Rodin’s Thinker. Don't miss the Park Güell: it will really surprise you! You will not find any park like this one in the world! This architectural marvel, created in the middle of nature by Antoni Gaudí, was commissioned by Count Güell, who wanted him to design an elegant estate with family homes. Today it is a public park and it belongs to the city's heritage. It has been declared UNESCO’s World heritage site and is just another marvel that awaits you on your visit to Barcelona. When you go to Park Güell, you should enter by the big staircase dominated by the dragon decorated with mosaic of ceramic tiles, the Catalan style known as “trencadís”. This dragon is one of the most characteristic images of Barcelona. Originally written Park Güell (using the English spelling), the park is arranged around a large central square bordered by a snaking, “trencadís”-covered bench. Below the square, the roof is supported by 86 Doric columns, like trees, with paths between them, and viaducts on sloping columns: Gaudí's work, like no other, unites nature and architecture.

Enjoy a beautiful evening on the water listening to acclaimed jazz guitarist Joe Cohn, and saxophonist Ian Hendrickson-Smith Bring out the romance and step aboard the Clipper City for a jazz concert cruise around NYC. The hustle, bustle and noise of the city turns to the sweet, cool rhythms of bebop, smoky blues, ballads and other jazz standards as you sail smoothly out into the summer night all lit up with the backdrop of NYC skyline. Joe Cohn will be joined by a variety of other well-known guest musicians booked by Jazz Standard founder, James Polsky.
