First photographed by Timothy O’Sullivan in 1871, we continue trying to capture the beauty of this geological wonder, but nothing compares to seeing the Grand Canyon in person. Your day will start by departing from the Gray Line Tour Center in Las Vegas located just minutes from the famous Las Vegas Strip. En route to the Grand Canyon, your tour guide will provide you with expert narration of the area’s most historical and interesting facts about the Spanish explorers, numerous native cultures, and the early Western Settlers of northern Arizona. A delicious lunch is provided at the Imax theater.  Prepare for a spectacular experience that you and your family will not soon forget! Heading deeper into the National Park, we will stop for more sightseeing time at Bright Angel Lodge, one of the original hotel destinations at the Grand Canyon South Rim located directly on the edge of the Grand Canyon itself. Day 1 You leave Edinburgh and head north across the River Forth towards the Highlands. You make a short stop in one of the quintessential Scottish towns bordering the highland fault line, before crossing into the Cairngorms National Park. There are numerous options on route including a famous whisky distillery, stunning caledonian forest walks, ancient standing stones, world-changing battlefields, and beautiful lochs. What you do today will be decided by your group and the ever- changing Scottish climate. Ample time for lunch will be given en route. You then continue north and arrive in Inverness, where you’re dropped off at your accommodation. The evening is free for you to explore the capital of the Highlands. Day 2 After a leisurely breakfast you’re picked up from your accommodation and taken into the surrounding countryside. You travel to Loch Ness where you have the chance to take a boat trip along the loch or stay on shore and visit the impressive ruins of Urquhart castle overlooking the loch. Our journey continues south through the Great Glen past Ben Nevis, the highest mountain in UK and Fort William. You stop for lunch along the way before arriving in Glencoe. The return journey continues over the wild and remote Rannoch Moor and into the lowland scenery around Stirling, before finally reaching our starting point of Edinburgh.

Back at the harbour you will be ready to enjoy a fun cruise where there will be games and a treasure hunt for your children and you can lie back and enjoy the weather as they play on the boat. A music quiz for the adults and lots of funny stories from the crew. The animation team will keep the kids occupied with the treasure hunt and face painting too. You will stop out at sea when you have the opportunity to swim and snorkel [ optional], this is where the splash comes in as you jump or dive from the boat. There is a free bar and drinks are available throughout the trip on the Dorimar II, a 3 tier glass bottom catamaran, with great views of the sea below. Free bar includes lager, sangria, soft drinks and cava, so no need to be thirsty either. Although not a regular occurence, dolphins have been spotted in the sea and if you are really lucky,,,,,,,you could even catch sight of them!
