The Phoenix World Class Fire File FS2414K will withstand temperatures in excess of 945 degrees for 1 hour and offers unrivalled protection from heat and water penetration . The FS2414K cabinet offer large capacity for documents and data, in a stylish modern lateral filing cabinet format. The ultra lightweight insulation materials also mean the cabinet can be used on most standard floors without the need for supporting. The Phoenix FS2414K has been engineered to withstand temperatures in excess of 945 degrees for 1 hour and protect its contents not only from the heat generated but also the water that is used by the Fire Brigade to put the fire out. The FireFile Fs2414k safe is tested for up to1 hour fire protection for paper documents, plus is also provides 1 hour fire protection for computer tapes and digital media when stored in optional FSDPI09 (see below). The safe is also constructed with a water resistant seal which prevents water damage to contents when cabinet is subjected to sprinklers systems or fire hoses. It is fitted with a high security plunger lock that operates independently on each drawer, which allows for any combination of open or locked drawers. The FS2414 is able to accommodate Foolscap, A4 and A5 files on width adjustable rails, and is a much cheaper way of filing (per mm) compared to standard vertical file.
