After we pick you up straight from the Mgarr Harbour, on both bus lines we'll take you to Xewkija, Bus Stop 2, one of the most picturesque villages in Gozo. Thanks to your high position on the open-top buses, you'll be able to see the incredible Rotunda of Xewkija from far away, which is also known as the Church of Saint John the Baptist, built in the late 17th century. If you fancy trying some of the local cuisine then hop-off at Bus Stop 3 to visit Savina Creativity at the Magro Food Village. The food in Gozo will make your taste buds go crazy! Or if you fancy a long walk, hop-off at Bus Stop 4 to complete the trail from Victoria all the way to Dwejra Heritage Park. The walk is about 13km so we recommend you buy a 48 hour bus ticket if you want to do this walk, just so you have enough time to explore other destinations too! At Bus Stop 5 you'll find Ta Dbiegi, a place rich with the Maltese culture, with an array of colours, and you'll discover some of the finest craft and glass shops. The boat departs from the old port of Fira and heads towards the volcanic island of Nea Kameni, which lies just 10 minutes away from the bay of Fira. The boat will remain there for 1 hour 15 mins. This gives you plenty of time to walk up to the volcano’s active craters and take photos- it takes about 20 mins. It is worth reaching the top to experience the smoke evaporating and the sulfur's intense smell, when you scratch the volcano’s surface. The next stop is the island of Palaia Kameni where the Hot Springs are located. The boat anchors a few meters outside the small bay of Agios Nikolaos, it lowers down a ladder in the water and you will have 30 mins for a revitalising swim! You can swim a distance of about 30 meters into the famous mud baths of Palaia Kameni which are believed to have beneficial abilities for skin and other diseases. The water temperature is 30-35 degrees Celsius, but it is constantly mixed with sea water. The island of Thirassia is the next destination of your sailing tour, where you will have 2 hours free time to swim in the crystal waters of Korfos or to taste the local dishes in one of the traditional taverns.You can walk or take a donkey ride to the nearby picturesque village of Manolas with its narrow streets - the view from there to Santorini is definitely worth a visit. The journey reaches its peak at Oia. During the boat ride to the port of Oia, you will experience sailing near the volcanic cliffs for a chance to capture with your camera the unique landscape. At the port, you will disembark and you will go up the 275 steps or ride a donkey to meet your bus that will take you to the village of Oia. There you will have free time to walk through the narrow streets, take pictures of the mesmerizing scenery and watch the famous sunset. Right after the sunset the bus will take you back to Fira Central Square. After the Burren, we make our way to Galway City. The city’s hub is 18th-century Eyre Square, a popular meeting spot surrounded by shops, traditional pubs, stone-clad cafes, boutiques and art galleries within winding lanes and medieval city walls.
