After departing San Francisco, you’ll head through California’s capital city, Sacramento, through the Sierra foothills and into the famous Gold Rush Country, cresting a high mountain pass within the Sierra Nevada. Then we’ll wind our way through large pine forests, before dramatically descending into South Lake Tahoe. Afternoon:  In the evening, we’ll settle into our centrally located hotel and then head out to happy hour with the Apres Ski crowd at the base of Heavenly Mountain Resort before a comfy night’s rest.   SAMPLE ITINERARY – DAY 2 (FRIDAY) SOUTH LAKE TAHOE: CHOOSE YOUR ADVENTURE All Day:  While masses of people are piling into their cars to head to the mountains, you’ll be on the first lift up to carve the groomers, or to get fresh tracks in that Heavenly powder! Don’t worry if you’re not really into skiing, our guides will offer the opportunity to go out on a fabulously scenic drive on the mountain roads surrounding Lake Tahoe, or maybe even a snowshoe adventure! If you’re really just here for the casinos, they’re open 24 hours, and you’re welcome to see if Lady Luck is on your side all day if you like! Don’t want to miss out on any of it? No problem, we’re flexible: our guides know their stuff, and we’ll help you fit in a scenic drive in the morning, get yourself a half day ticket on the mountain, and then hit the casinos all night long!   SAMPLE ITINERARY – DAY 3 (SATURDAY) SOUTH LAKE TAHOE TO SQUAW VALLEY & TRUCKEE, CA Morning:  We’ll hit the road early this morning and head toward historic Tahoe City taking in views of Emerald Bay before heading toward the famous Squaw Valley Resort. If you’re heading up onto this epic ski and snowboarding destination today, you’ll be glad if you dusted off the cobwebs on Heavenly yesterday. This place is the real deal, where you can often see extreme athletes pushing the envelope, soaring from the cliffs as you ride up the famous KT-22 Express. Make sure you bring your swimsuit too: the High Camp Pool and Hot Tub high on the resort is open for business…all winter long! This side of the lake also offers amazing snowshoeing or cross country skiing opportunities as well. Once again, you’ll be offered the choice to head up on the ski hill, or we’ll take you out on the trails through Stanislaus National Forest or maybe a snowshoe hike near the Donner Memorial State Park and explore the history of the ill-fated pioneers of the Donner Party as they struggled to travel west in their wagons and became stranded in the winter of 1846-47. Januar geschlossen.   Tower Bridge Ausstellung ​Dieser Voucher ist ausschließlich für den Eintritt zur Tower Bridge Ausstellung am gewählten Besuchstag gültig.   Der neue und spektakuläre Glasboden über den oberen Fußweg der  Brücke  ist  die bedeutendste  Entwicklung  der Attraktion seit der Eröffnung 1982. Beginnend vom Westlichen Fußüberweg aus, eröffnet der Glasboden den Besuchern  heute bisher unerreichte Aussichten auf das Londoner Leben,  42 Meter  hoch über der Themse.  Blicken Sie herab auf das Strassen- und Fußgängergewirr  über der Brücke,  während Flussschiffe darunter entlang gleiten – und planen Sie Ihren Besuch vorab für das wahrhaft magische Erlebnis der Klappbrücke,  die unter Ihren Füßen hochgezogen wird.  Der Glasfußweg ist elf  Meter lang und 1,80 Meter breit und umfasst sechs Böden, die einzeln  530 kg wiegen.  Sie bestehen aus fünf dicken Platten und können das vergleichbare Gewicht eines Elefanten und von zwei Taxis tragen! Die Installation wurde von einem  20-köpfigen Team innerhalb von sechs Wochen konstruiert.  Die Fußwege zeigen  tolle  Panoramablicke auf  London. Jede der 20 Brücken, die in unserer beliebten und erneuerten  Darstellung ‘New Great Bridges of the World' präsentiert wird,  zeigt eine atemberaubende  Meisterleistung der Technik. Nachdem Sie durch Animationen und Anzeigen in den Towers etwas über die Geschichte der Brücke lernen, gehen Sie weiter zu den Viktorianischen Maschinenräumen mit den wunderschön erhaltenen Dampfmaschinen, die einst genutzt wurden um die Brückenhebung zu ermöglichen. Vor über 100 Jahren bauten die Viktorianer eine Brücke die zu einer der berühmtesten Attraktionen Londons wurde. Obere Fußgängerwege wurden gebaut damit  Menschen die Themse überqueren können während die Brücke hochgezogen wird  und große Schiffe an der Tower Bridge vorbeifahren  können. Heute dienen diese Fußwege als Aussichtsgalerie, die den Besuchern die spektakulärsten Blicke auf eine sich stets wandelnde Londoner Skyline schenkt. Fußgängerwege & Ausstellung: Besucher betreten die Tower Bridge Ausstellung über den North Tower. Sie werden dann mit dem Aufzug auf die Spitze des Towers gebracht (47 Meter über der Themse) wo sie die einzigartige Gelegenheit haben, das Stahlgerüst der Brücke von innen zu sehen. Ein kleiner Film erklärt die Geschichte und Herkunft der Brücke und es besteht die Möglichkeit,  von beiden überdachten Fußwegen aus die spektakulären Ausblicke zu bewundern. Auf dem östlichen Übergang gibt es eine fantastische Sicht  auf die Docklands und vom westlichen Übergang können Sie das neue  GLA Gebäude sehen, den Tower of London, St Paul’s, die Stadt, das Becken von London und Big Ben und das London Eye in  der Entfernung. Interaktive Computerstände und grafische Tafeln erklären den Besuchern die Bedeutung der Aussichten und geben mehr Informationen  zur Geschichte und  zum Bau der Brücke. Das interaktive Material und die Grafiktafeln sind in sieben Sprachen verfasst und es ist auch für die Videoshow ein Audioaufhänger für Schwerhörige vorhanden.  Im South Tower gibt es einen  weiteren Film  zu sehen, vor dem Abstieg  für einen kleinen Spaziergang  zum historischen Maschinenraum,  inbegriffen in Ihrem Ticketpreis. Viktorianische Maschinenräume: Sie geben  faszinierende Einblicke in das Konstruktionswesen des späten 19. Jahrhunderts.   Die großen und schön erhaltenen, kohlenbetriebenen Maschinen wurden  zur Fertigstellung der Tower Bridge 1894 installiert, und genutzt um bis 1976 Tausende der Klappbrückenhebungen  zu ermöglichen .  Obwohl die Hebevorrichtungen heute mit Elektrizität funktionieren, sind  die originalen Dampfmaschinen immer noch  vorhanden. Die Maschinenräume geben  Besuchern die Möglichkeit mit Modellen zu experimentieren, die die Technologie der Brücke demonstrieren. Es gibt auch erstaunliche Fotografien der  Tower Bridge seit Ihres Bestehens – darunter ein  aufschlussreiches Bild  der schweren Stahlstruktur der Brücke,  als die Steinverkleidung darüber montiert  wurde.

The card and ticket must be kept together at all times and both must be shown in the case of inspection. Validity of your Paris Pass After activation your Paris Pass remains valid for the duration that you have purchased. It is valid on consecutive days and at the end of the validity period, will no longer entitle you to free entry at attractions or transport. If for example, you used a four day pass for the first time on Monday, your pass will cease working at the end of Thursday, regardless of how often you have used it in between. It is important to note that a ‘day’ is based on a calendar day, so should you use your pass at 4pm on Monday, Monday is counted as day one of your pass usage.
