Exhibitions: Bergerac's Island - Jersey in the 1980's The 1980s were a decade of people power and individuality. World-changing events were led by public opinion and the need to change an unfair world. The most momentous of these changes was the fall of the Berlin Wall in 1989, reuniting a divided Germany. International protests and campaigns led to the eventual release of anti-apartheid campaigner Nelson Mandela. The world was changing and people became much more aware of the need to look after it. This exhibition looks at how we felt about what was happening in the world and Jersey in the 1980s. Storymakers - Where people make history (27 May - 31 Dec) This new community exhibition celebrates people's passion for the past and the ways in which they engage with Jersey’s heritage. Whether that is making a pilgrimage to Elizabeth Castle on St Helier's Day or taking part in a re-enactment of the Battle of Jersey in the Royal Square Facilities and Access Entrance and parking: Located at the Weighbridge St Helier near the Royal Yacht Hotel. No on-site car park but parking for cyclists. Public parking in Pier Road. San Francisco Museum Of Modern Art: All visitors (including members and visitors 18 and under, who always receive free admission) require a ticket so we can ensure the museum does not exceed capacity. Order tickets in advance for all members of your party so everyone can enter the galleries at the same time. No eating, drinking, smoking, or sleeping is permitted in the Museum. Eating and drinking are permitted in designated areas only (Café 5, Sightglass at SFMOMA, and In Situ). Sealed food and drink containers are allowed if they are packed away inside a bag. Backpacks may not be carried on your back; they must be carried or worn on your front at all times. Hornblower Classic Cable Cars: Hop aboard a motorized Cable Car in the heart of Fisherman’s Wharf. As the historical vehicle makes its way down Columbus Street through North Beach and Little Italy, listen to live narration about San Francisco and its notable sights. Cruise through Chinatown, Nob Hill and Union Square on your way to your first stop on the walking tour at Civic center/City Hall. With its Beaux-Arts monument to the City, it showcases the beautiful movement that epitomized the high-minded American Renaissance of the 1880s to 1917. Once aboard the Cable Car again you will head through the lower Haight district on your way to your 2nd stop on the walking tour at Alamo Square Park. You will get the chance to be up close and personal with the world famous “Painted Ladies” as seen in the opening credits on the show Full House! Back on the Cable Car we will head down Fell Street toward our 3rd stop on the tour in the Haight and Ashbury district. You will jump off on Haight Street in the center of the 1960’s hippie movement to explore exclusive boutiques, high-end vintage clothing shops, second hand stores, Internet cafés and hip restaurants and bars. All aboard as we now travel through Golden Gate Park, The Richmond district, Sea Cliff and down the coastline as we get ready to jump off at our last but certainly not least stop of the day, The Golden Gate Bridge! The Cable Car arrives at the Golden Gate Bridge, an engineering marvel built across San Francisco Bay during the depression opening in 1937. You’ll step foot onto the famous suspension bridge and listen as your guide shares stories of its art deco structure. Re-board the Cable Car and head back over the Golden Gate Bridge and onward toward the Presidio! Traverse Pacific Heights, one of San Francisco’s most affluent neighborhoods, and take advantage of photo ops as you pass by the home featured in the blockbuster film ‘Mrs. Doubtfire’! Before we drop-off back at the starting point, the historical vehicle makes its way past Ghirardelli Square, home of the namesake chocolates! El Museo del Louvre - entrada prioritaria Con esta entrada se puede acceder de manera rápida al museo más famoso del mundo el Museo del Louvre, localizado en el corazón de París y a la orilla del rio Sena. Las obras que previamente habían formado parte de la colección de los reyes revolucionarios franceses componen un conjunto de obras expuestas en el Louvre. Es una de las razones por el cual el Louvre se haya convertido en el museo más visitado de Paris y es uno de los más famosos internacionalmente. Cabe destacar la pirámide de cristal que se encuentra en la entrada de este museo, la cual fue inaugurada en 1988. Esta pirámide permite al visitante admirar directamente al interior del vestíbulo. La Mona Lisa, la preciada obre del pintor Leonardo Da Vinci, es el retrato de la esposa de Francesco del Giocondo, Lisa Gherardini.
Venus de Milo, una escultura que representa la deidad Afrodita  o Venus en la mitología romana – que fue descubierta en Cícladas.
Victoria alada de Samotracia, una escultura griega que representa la deidad Niké posada sobre la proa de un navío, que actúa de pedestal de la figura femenina.
Las Bodas de Caná es la pintura más larga del Louvre. La obra de Paolo Veronese representa el episodio evangélico, en el cual Cristo realiza su primer milagro, convertir el agua en vino en la boda.
La Consagración de Napoleón es una pintura que representa la coronación y consagración de Napoleón I y de la Emperatriz Josephine que tuvo lugar en la Catedral de Notre Dame.
La Balsa de la Medusa es una pintura de Théodore Géricault. Esta simboliza la escena del naufragio de la fragata Medusa que fue encallada frente la costa de Mauritania en 1816.   En acabar la visita, se puede pasear por los jardines de las Tullerías hasta la Place de la Concorde. Además puede continuar el paseo hasta los Champs-Élysées, una vez es fácil llegar al Arco de Triunfo, que se encuentra al final de la avenida.

As you follow the winding path of Lombard Street you end up outside the Sentinel Building home to Francis Ford Coppola’s movie production company. The man himself is waiting for you outside with his latest film script in hand; perhaps he has you in mind for the leading role! A short distance away you can hear the faint sounds of music and smell burning campfires. As you investigate closer you step into a living breathing festival. Clipper City is a 158 foot long, 120 feet high tall ship. Largest sailing passenger vessel on East Coast. The ship is surrounded by high railings, benches, with a full bar. This is a very stable sailing ship due to its size.
