Waters of the World - Bereise die Welt in mehr als 80 Lebensräumen! Tauchen Sie ein in die Ozeane von den Kelp-Wäldern bis zum Meeresboden, erkunden Sie die in sich geschlossenen Ökosysteme der Inseln und Seen, besuchen Sie Flüsse – groß und klein – und erfahren Sie mehr über lokale und internationale Gewässer. Hier treffen Sie auf Hunderte erstaunliche Tiere – von kleinen Mantella Frogsto zu einem riesigen Oktopus, von einem Grand Cayman Blue Iguana zu Nile Messerfischen und von Mond Gelees zu Seesternen. Falls sie sich verirren, haben wir sogar Kartenschildkröten.
Caribbean Reef - Hier können Sie eine 360-Grad-Tour durch Unterwasserriffs machen. Folgen Sie einer grünen Meeresschlidkröte und beobachten Papagaienfische und Haie auf Augenhöhe.
Amazon Rising - Machen Sie einen exotischen Ausflug in den Amazonas, Heimat für ein Drittel aller Lebewesen. Nehmen Sie sich in Acht vor Anakondas und Piranhas, Spinnen, Rochen und einem getarnten Kaiman. Sehen Sie, wie sich die Tiere, Pflanzen und Menschen der Region an den dramatischen jährlichen Anstieg und Fall des Wassers anpassen.
Abbott Oceanarium - Das Abbott Oceanarium versetzt Sie in das pulsierende Küstenökosystem von Belugawalen, pazifischen Weißflossen-Delfinen, Seeottern und Seelöwen. Dort wo Süßwasser in den Ozean fließt, finden sich auch den Lebensraum von wirbellosen Tieren und Fischen.
Polar Play Zone - Auch Kinder haben einen Platz in Shedd Aquarium, den sie ihren eigenen nennen können – die Polar Play Zone.
Was möchtest du sein? Ein glatter Gleitpinguin? Ein Tiefseeforscher? Wie wäre es mit beiden? In der Polar Play Zone kannst du in einen Pinguinanzug schlüpfen. Von dort aus begeben Sie sich in den eisigen Norden, um die arktischen Gewässer der Belugas in einem kleinen U-Boot zu erkunden.
Vergessen Sie nicht den Seesternen in einem großen Berührungsbecken die Hände zu schütteln – oder sind es Arme? In der Polar Play Zone lernen die Kinder, spielerich, über polare Gegensätze - große und kleine, schnelle und langsame, flache und tiefe, sogar Norden und Süden.
The Alfa Hotel and Wellness Centre is situated in Miskolc-Tapolca, just a few minutes' walk from the Cave Bath health resort next to the ancient forest, and features air-conditioned rooms with cable TV.Enjoy a wide range of services and the familiar atmosphere.The wellness section features a water surface of 116m² and is thus the largest pool area in Miskolc-Tapolca. The wellness centre was built under the pool and can be seen through windows at the bottom of the pool. On the other side, sitting in the hot tub, you can watch the swimmers above you.For other recreational activities, guests can choose between the Finnish sauna, the steam cabins, a solarium, massages and the fitness hall.After a grand day in the spa you can spend a peaceful night in your nicely furnished room, most of which feature a balcony.Fine Hungarian and international cuisine is served in the restaurant and on the garden terrace.

5 Things you need to know before your climb
Health & Safety
Your health and safety is important: If you are pregnant or have any pre-existing health conditions you may need to provide a doctor’s Certificate of Fitness note before you climb. You must have a blood-alcohol reading below 0.05 to climb (the same as if you are driving). You will be asked to complete a BridgeClimb Declaration Form before your Climb. Please be honest about your health so we can ensure your wellbeing is not at risk. All discussions will be confidential.
Preparations
How should you prepare for your Climb: Ensure that you have eaten before your Climb and you’re well-hydrated – the experience can last up to 3 ½ hours. Wear comfortable, enclosed rubber-soled shoes such as running, sport or hiking shoes and don’t forget your sunglasses. It is recommend to wear comfortable clothing. You will be equipped with everything else you need for your Climb! Ensure you arrive 15 minutes before your scheduled Climb time to allow enough time to check in.
Personal Belongings
All your personal belongings can be stored in lockers, including cameras: there are FREE secure lockers for you to keep your personal belongings in, including phones, cameras and GoPros. The Climb Leaders will capture photos of you during your Climb. For safety and security reasons, cameras, video technology and mobile devices are prohibited on the Climb.
Restrictions
You must be 8 years old and 1.2 metres in height, or taller: Children aged 8 to 15 must be accompanied by and are the responsibility of an adult, with a maximum of three children per adult.
Weather Conditions
Climbs operate in all weather conditions: You will equipped with all the gear you need to keep you dry, but remember to bring your own shoes, which should be enclosed, like running shoes. In case of extreme weather conditions like electrical storms or during times of extremely high wind, Climbs may be postponed.
La Cité du Vin hosts rich and cultural events that happen all year round in very large auditorium. This happens weekly at La Cité du Vin.
Workshops - There are seven different themed workshops that are available for all ages and all audiences, connoisseurs to the much younger generation, which is set in three tasting areas including a multi-sensory space and educational workshops: multi-sensory experiences, discovery workshops, wine and delicacies, junior workshops, family workshops and many more!
Other activities - There are many other activities that highlight wine's universal dimension (grape varieties of the world, wine through the ages), cultural heritage aspects (landscapes, legends, rites, wine and the arts) and tasting (flavour, sensoriality).
The Reading Room - This is a free area that is open to all, which offers a wide selection of literary, historic , artistic and even anthropological works that relate to the fabulous world of wine!
