To have a maximum safety the helmet must fit tightly and be correctly and securely fastened, in order not to be able to be taken off neither by pulling it nor by rotating it around the head. If it is too big, it may slide down over the eyes or turn in a lateral direction due to movement during riding, blocking the right visibility. Safety Shell in three sizes (M, L and XL) hand made. The new material is a mix of carbon and aramidic fabric.

The D-Ring Retention System has been designed and patented by Suomy. Insert the free side of the strap in the rings. Pull the end until the strap presses firmly against the jaw. After this operation, it should not be possible to remove the helmet. Verify that by grabbing it from the back and rotating it to the front it cannot be removed and it is fixed to the head. If the helmet tends to come off or rotates freely, tighten the strap again until the right pressure is obtained and repeat test. If after repeating the test you are not able to efficiently tighten the retention system, do not use the helmet. Only after checking the correct tension of the strap, fix the free end locking it with the automatic stud to the release tab. The automatic stud is necessary only to fix the free end of the strap to prevent it from flapping while riding. Fixing the release button does not assure that the helmet is correctly in position and properly fastened: the correct locking of the strap must be verified exclusively following the above paragraphs. To release the retention system, release the automatic stud button and pull the release tab to loosen the closure. Slide out the free end of the strap from the «D Rings». Use the release tab only to remove the helmet! Never release this tab while riding. ECE 22-05 Comfort Cheekpads completely removable and washable, in different thicknesses for a complete customization of the product. Internal Shell completely removable and washable, in different thicknesses for a complete customization of the product. The internal removable shell has been studied for an uniform stand on the head. The visible channels allow the air flow to check the temperature in teh internal part of teh helmet and to let off the hot air through the back part.

Removeable Nose Protector Ventilation
The Shell is a polystyrene with channels for inside air flows. In the front part there is a Air Ventilation with on/off system, which gets the internal helmet ventilation. On the chin part there is an adjustable Air Ventilation.
Aerodynamics Spoiler and Back Air Ventilation: produced in polycarbonate , it has been studied and tested in wind tunnel, so that the point of detachment of the aerodynamic flow is shifted as far away as possible from the shell. This results in less turbulence and therefore fewer vibrations on the helmet itself. This helmet comes standard with a clear visor.
RX-7V Ventilation New diffusers are 20mm longer and straightened for improved aerodynamics, working together with the Air Wing to improve stability. Compared to the previous diffusers, the efficiency of the intake scoops of the new diffusers has increased by 19%. The new air intake vents not only have more adjustability with three positions, closed, half open and fully open but also help to improve sealing that decreases wind noise and water intrusion. Shell Construction: PB-SNC2 Peripherally Belted Structural Net Composite Arai´s proprietary (super fibre belt) Peripheral Belt, borrowed from our F-1 technology, maximizes shell strength and flexibility while maintaining low weight. Positioned across the top of the eye port, this band allows the use of a thinner EPS liner which greatly enhances the upward field of view – especially appreciated in a full racing tuck! The Structural Net Composite adds a physical bond to the resin bond of the many layers of fibres and reinforcing materials within the shell. Variable Axis System (VAS) With VAS, the visor mounting position is lowered, yielding an average of an additional 24mm across both temple areas, in pursuit of the ideal smoother shape that increases the ability of glancing off energy. As a result, this has made it possible for more of the shell to be smoother along and above the test line of the Snell standard. Ventilation: Free Flow System (FFS) Creates airflow under the helmet that reduces wind noise and turbulence while increasing the exhaust of hot air. Ventilation: Eyeport Airchannel Enhanced air exhaust from the eye port area, pulled through dedicated air channel to side ducts, improving efficiency and reducing noise. Front Ventilation: Center top vent The new Top Vent provides 11% more airflow than the previous Vent. The new bigger switch makes opening and closing easier. The new Top Vent has three positions, closed, half open and fully open to adjust the airflow and prevent water intrusion when fully closed. Front Ventilation: Diffuser system The new diffusers are 20mm longer and straightened for improved aerodynamics, working together with the Air Wing to improve stability. Front Ventilation: Brow vents extended to temple area Fresh air can enter directly to the forehead area without the need for holes in this critical area of the shell and impact absorbing liner. For specific models the ventilation is extended to the temple area. Rear Ventilation: Neck exhaust vent To enhance hot-air extraction from the interior. Increases the ventilation effect at the lower part of the helmet. Rear Ventilation: Side exhausts Produce low pressure behind the rear vent for better hot air extraction. Integrated in the shell for better aerodynamics, reduce wind noise and prevent buffeting at speed. Inside, a small foam dam helps to absorb and diminish excessive noise, without reducing ventilation performance. Aerodynamics: Pull Down Chin Spoiler Helps minimize wind noise and also aids with the extraction of hot air from the face area. Provides additional deflection of road debris away from neck. Depending on the model the Chin Spoiler is retractable. Aerodynamics: Patented Air Wing® adjustable MotoGP tested and designed to greatly reduce drag, turbulence and buffeting resulting in more comfort and additional top-speed. It improves stability of the helmet at high speeds or when braking hard and reduces noise. Depending on the model the Air Wing is adjustable in five different angles of attack positions to suit every riding position. Approval: SNELL M2010/2015 The American SNELL Memorial Foundation is an independent organisation, SNELL M2010 is their latest new, more shock-absorbent standard. For the M2010 standard a steel ball shaped rather like a tennis ball anvil is used, they also test with flat and “kerb” shaped anvils). The impact test area of SNELL is larger than that of ECE. Multiple impacts and a penetration test on random spots are used.
