Abbott Oceanarium The Abbott Oceanarium immerses you in the vibrant coastal ecosystem of beluga whales, Pacific white-sided dolphins, sea otters and sea lions. You’ll also find a host of fishes and invertebrates that make their homes where freshwater flows into the ocean or where tides turn seascapes to landscapes and back again each day. Use our self-guided map to discover how animals are linked to each other, their homes and you. Polar Play Zone Kids have a place at Shedd that they can call their own—Polar Play Zone. It’s cool as ice and twice as nice! The penguins think so, too. Play! Splash! Pretend! What would you like to be? A sleek sliding penguin? A deep-sea explorer? How about both? In Polar Play Zone, you can slip into a penguin suit and try being a bird in the Icy South play area. From there, head to the Icy North to explore the belugas’ Arctic waters in a kid-sized submarine. At its zenith in the 1st millennium AD, this was one of the largest cities in the Americas with over 100,000 inhabitants. Accompanied by your local guide you'll explore the magnificent Pyramids of the Sun and the Moon, the Avenue of the Dead and the Temples of Quetzacoatl and the Butterflies.  Then we'll move on to the Shrine of our Lady of Guadalupe, the most visited religious site in Latin America. The Shrine was built in 1531 after a local peasant saw a vision of a girl surrounded by light, asking that a church be built in her honour. She identified herself as the Virgin Mary and left an image of herself imprinted miraculously on his peasant cloak.  The shrine itself is a wonderful example of Spanish Baroque Art and is one of the most important pilgrimage sites for Roman Catholics in the world.

San Francisco Musem Of Modern Art: All visitors (including members and visitors 18 and under, who always receive free admission) require a ticket so we can ensure the museum does not exceed capacity. Aquarium Of The Bay: Explore the magic, beauty and wonder of San Francisco Bay at Aquarium of the Bay. Your visit will take you through three main exhibit areas that display the amazing riches that lie beneath the surface of the San Francisco Bay and surrounding waters. The Bay and the Animals Who Call it Home - approximately 20,000 animals who live in the Bay and nearby waters, from octopuses to eight-foot sevengill sharks. Guests are also treated to mesmerizing walls of jellies and a chance to have up close and personal encounters with leopard sharks, bat rays, skates, and other “splash zone" animals. By connecting our guests with native marine animals in an engaging and meaningful manner, we nurture transformative, emotional connections that inspire conservation advocacy. Because we reach over 600,000 people a year, these connections have high impact. Exploring environmental challenges: Climate change, habitat loss, water pollution, and unsustainable harvest. We work both alone and in partnership on research, including shark monitoring and captive breeding programs. Our goal is to understand how best to ensure that native animals can thrive in the busy, much used waters of San Francisco Bay, its estuary, marshes and tributaries.

Outward journey A representative will meet you at London's St Pancras International station to give you your welcome pack and tickets ready for your 2.5 hour Eurostar train journey to Paris city centre. Meeting Point: Eurostar Terminal, 6.15am Monday - Friday or 5.30am Saturdays. Passport required for travel and please check any visa requirements for travel to France prior to booking.  On arrival at Paris Gare du Nord, you and your host will board your luxury private coach and start your Parisian journey taking in major landmarks including the Champs-Elysees, the Arc de Triomphe, Notre Dame, Musee d’Orsay and Place de la Concorde. On arrival at the Eiffel Tower your host will escort you past the main queue to Level 1 where you will enjoy breath-taking views as you see the city spread out beneath you. Proceeding to 58 Tour Eiffel you will then savour a delicious 3 course champagne lunch in the capital’s most famous monument, after which you will have time to take some memorable photographs. After lunch it’s time to see a different view of the capital as you take to the river on a one hour sightseeing cruise on the romantic River Seine. Then your host will take you by bus to Galeries Lafayette – world famous for its excellent shopping and where you will have some free time to explore. As an alternative why not choose to purchase a skip the line entry ticket for the Louvre Museum from your guide? The Louvre houses over 35,000 works of art including Leonardo da Vinci’s world famous ‘Mona Lisa’. Return journey Meet your guide at Opera to ensure you are back to Gare Du Nord on time to check in for your Eurostar train service back to London (arrival 21.39 local time).
