These Forgefix General Purpose Pozi Screws with countersunk heads have an electro brassed finish for increased durability and to suit most internal and decorative requirements. They are versatile screws, ideal for use in and with many materials. APPLICATION:Ideal for use in many decorative installations. Can be used with various screw cover caps. The Electro brassed process of electroplating is similar to the 'Galvanised' and 'Zinc Plated' processes but with the addition of a dye. It offers an aesthetically pleasing finish that is resistant to corrosion. The Pozidriv screw is similar in appearance to the classic Phillips cross-head, but in fact is very different. The Pozidriv has four additional points of contact, and does not have the rounded corners that the Phillips screw drive has. The biggest advantage it offers is that, when used with the correct tooling in good condition, it does not cam out, allowing great torque to be applied. The Pozidriv screw can easily be distinguished by a line embossed in the screw head at 45° to the slots for the driver. The screws' countersunk heads are designed to sink flush with substrates to leave a smooth surface finish. They have twin threads to enable an easy start when driving.General Purpose Pozi Screw Countersunk TT Electro Brass 3/4 x 8 Box 200
Self guiding cutters with bearings mounted for trimming and bevelling timber, lippings and plastic laminate edges for cabinet making, countertop production or any shaping applications. Bearing guided cutters are suitable for both straight and curved work, bearings are normally fractionally larger than cutter diameter, to avoid surface scoring. Uses:Trimming plastic or plywood overlay.Copy profiling - use the bearing to follow a template or base edge of board. A 3 mm approximate overlap should be left before copy profiling, also when using plastic laminate always allow laminate adhesive to dry before trimming. This avoids clogging the guide bearing. The Stanley FatMax Screwdriver sets have a chrome vanadium steel bar allows high torque and reduces the risk of tip breakage, and the handle is moulded directly to the shaft for a virtually unbreakable bond which gives long life and durability. The soft-grip handle gives a perfect combination of great grip and reduced fatigue in use and is colour coded for easy identification of the right tip type for the application. The smooth domed end offers fast, comfortable spinning action and the large diameter handle offers higher torque when driving wood screws.Type - Flared Tip Size 5.5mmBlade Length 150mm (6 in)
