There are several restaurants available for lunch and you will have ample time to experience any of the restaurants available at Grand Canyon Village or take a leisurely stroll along the rim and grab a quick snack. After lunch, we'll travel along the south rim for spectacular views and great photo opportunities. We then exit the Canyon on the east end for a majestic view of the Colorado River. This self-guided tour allows for full immersion into the twin Cities of Perth and Fremantle, and also enjoying Perth’s natural asset of the Swan River. Starting in Perth, the tour takes in all major attractions of the revitalised Perth CBD, including the Western Australian Cricket Ground (WACA). Then on to Kings Park Botanical Gardens, where you have time to experience a walk through the trees canopies on the Tree Top Walkway or take in the stunning views from the war memorial back over the city skyline. Continue through the affluent Western Suburbs of Perth known as Millionaire’s Row before reaching Cottesloe Beach where the Indian Ocean sparkles. Travel on into historic Fremantle and leave your coach tour here to enjoy the atmosphere and stop for lunch (own expense) at the many café and eateries, with its famous Fish and Chips restaurants at the Fishing Boat Harbour. Take the Fremantle Tram for a scenic tour of Fremantle and enjoy the beauty of this famous marine port, undergoing rejuvenation and development whilst maintaining old charm. Finish this relaxing day by catching the late afternoon cruise back to Perth along the pristine Swan River, sampling local winesif desired before arriving back into Perth along with million dollar views of Kings Park, Yacht Clubs and the new Elizabeth Quay. Leaving Glasgow you will head north-west through the rugged Highlands of Scotland until you reach Inveraray, a quaint town built in the mid-18th century on the shores of Loch Fyne. Here you can choose to visit Inveraray Castle* the historic home of the Duke of Argyll, chief of the Clan Campbell, nestled in large beautiful gardens overlooking Loch Fyne. Alternatively, explore the town’s white-washed Georgian houses, wide streets and breathtaking views across the loch.  Your route climbs further north into the Highlands through stunning scenery marked by several dramatic castles and beautiful lochs. You'll pause to admire Kilchurn Castle, one of Scotland’s most photographed castles, nestled on the banks of Loch Awe and beautifully framed by mountains.  Next you will make a stop for lunch in the picturesque harbour town of Oban, ‘Gateway to the Isles’, with free time to explore its horseshoe bay and see MacCaig’s Folly, an iconic 19th century tower reminiscent of the Colosseum in Rome.  After free time exploring, we travel onwards past the 15th century Castle Stalker, which is set on a small island on Loch Laich, before reaching Glencoe, one of Scotland’s most haunting glens and site of the 1692 massacre of the MacDonald clan.  The return journey will take you over the dramatic landscape of Rannoch Moor and the Black Mount before you make the final stop at the pretty conservation village of Luss on the ‘Bonnie, Bonnie Banks’ of Loch Lomond.
