This Forge internal Door Bolt can be used for securing doors or cupboards.Supplied with screws and fitting instructions. Fitting Instructions:1. Postion door bolt on the door face so that the end of the doorbolt is in line with the door edge and mark the screwholes with a pencil.2. Drill pilot holes using a Ø2mm drillbit and fasten in place using supplied screws.3. If being installed on an inward opening door:- Position the bolt keep onto the door frame, and ensure that the bolt moves freely through the hole. it may be necessary to remove part of the frame with a chisel.Made from solid brass and lacquered for a long lasting finish. This Forge Backplate Handle has a classic Georgian handle shape with traditional rope style border trim. The sprung handle has a lasting finish and is lacquered to prevent discolouration during use. They are ideal for internal or external use as the handles have been tested for corrosion resistance and cycle tested beyond 70,000 uses. Backplate: 48 x 152mm. Supplied with screws and fitting instructions. Fitting Instructions:1. Place the spindle bar through an existing tubular latch or lock and position one handle over the spindle bar. Ensuring the handle is square, mark the srcew hole positions with a bradawl.2. Drill Ø2mm pilot holes and reposition the handle before securing using the wood screws provided.3. If fitting Bathroom handles, now insert the bathroom spindle bar through the deadbolt hole of the lock from the outside of the door and place the thumbturn onto the spindle bar. Tighten the grubscrew on the underside with the hex key provided.Designed to be used with any mortice sashlock with centres of 57mm.
