The View From The Shard The Shard is an iconic, landmark building on the London skyline, designed by Master Architect Renzo Piano. At a height of 1,016ft (310 m), the tallest building in Western Europe, the Shard redefines London's skyline and will be a dynamic symbol of London, recognisable throughout the world. The View is situated at the top of The Shard, on floors 68, 69 and 72, and almost twice the height of any other viewing platform in London. Prepare to embark on a multi-sensory journey to 244 m (800ft) above of one of the greatest cities on earth. On arrival at Level 00, you will be drawn into the tapestry of London with glimpses of the city laid out before you. Travelling skyward in two high-speed ‘kaleidoscopic' lifts, you'll swiftly reach Level 68 - a cloudscape above the world. Then journey to Level 69 where the view is revealed and London opens out before you. Here, in the sky above London, you'll experience an astonishing 360 degree, 64 km (40 mile) view over the city and beyond where the past, present and future of London will be unfurled beneath you, brought to life in multimedia displays. For the best view in town, ascend to Level 72, at 244 m, the highest public level of The Shard. You'll be exposed to the elements with sounds of the city around you. The boat departs from the old port of Fira and heads towards the volcanic island of Nea Kameni, which lies just 10 minutes away from the bay of Fira. The boat will remain there for 1 hour 15 mins. This gives you plenty of time to walk up to the volcano’s active craters and take photos- it takes about 20 mins. It is worth reaching the top to experience the smoke evaporating and the sulfur's intense smell, when you scratch the volcano’s surface. The next stop is the island of Palaia Kameni where the Hot Springs are located. The boat anchors a few meters outside the small bay of Agios Nikolaos, it lowers down a ladder in the water and you will have 30 mins for a revitalising swim! You can swim a distance of about 30 meters into the famous mud baths of Palaia Kameni which are believed to have beneficial abilities for skin and other diseases. The water temperature is 30-35 degrees Celsius, but it is constantly mixed with sea water. The island of Thirassia is the next destination of your sailing tour, where you will have 2 hours free time to swim in the crystal waters of Korfos or to taste the local dishes in one of the traditional taverns.You can walk or take a donkey ride to the nearby picturesque village of Manolas with its narrow streets - the view from there to Santorini is definitely worth a visit.  The journey reaches its peak at Oia. During the boat ride to the port of Oia, you will experience sailing near the volcanic cliffs for a chance to capture with your camera the unique landscape. At the port, you will disembark and you will go up the 275 steps or ride a donkey to meet your bus that will take you to the village of Oia. There you will have free time to walk through the narrow streets, take pictures of the mesmerizing scenery and watch the famous sunset. Right after the sunset the bus will take you back to Fira Central Square. ITINERARY: Pick up at your hotel to depart to My Tho. Upon arrival, we will take a boat ride along the river, viewing stilt houses and fruit plantation along the banks. Visit fishing villages or floating fish farms at My Tho. Proceed to Tortoise Island and have lunch in an orchard. Enjoy a boat ride through Tan Thach canal to Ben Tre, cruising under the shadow of water coconut trees and stop for visiting some families to get closer to their rural lifestyle and research their family business. Lunch at local restaurants between visits. After walking through fruit gardens and villages, we will come back to the boat and return to Saigon by car.
