Shakespeare's Globe Exhibition is the world's largest exhibition devoted to Shakespeare and the London in which he lived and worked. Housed beneath the reconstructed Globe Theatre on London's Bankside, the exhibition explores the remarkable story of the Globe, and brings Shakespeare's world to life using a range of interactive displays and live demonstrations. Visitors to the exhibition can discover how shows were produced in the theatres of Shakespeare's time, from writing and rehearsals to music, dance and performance. There are opportunities to learn about the traditional crafts and techniques used during the process of rebuilding the Globe; to find out how special effects were produced in Shakespeare's time, to listen to recordings from some of the most memorable Shakespearean performances ever, or join the cast and add your own voice to a scene recorded by Globe actors; to create your own Shakespearean phrases in the word jungle; to watch a sword-fighting display and browse the costume collection, where you can learn about the extraordinary methods used in creating clothes 400 years ago. A visit to the Exhibition includes a guided tour of the theatre where expert guide-storytellers provide fascinating half hour tours of the auditorium, taking visitors on a journey through time back to Elizabethan London as well as the reconstruction process of the 1980's-90's and how the wooden 'o' works today as an imaginative and experimental theatrical space. An exhibition visit and theatre tour lasts about one and a half hours. NB: There is no access to the theatre during matinee performances. Visitors will be taken to the nearby archaeological site of the Rose Theatre, Bankside's first playhouse.   London Bridge Experience & Tombs There are recreations of the past wooden, stone and medieval bridges, all of which include live characters in full regalia of the time. Join in the fun, have a laugh and learn some of London's gruesome history at the same time. The performers also do their very best to add a few surprises along the way; so try to be ready for them! Then travel through the Terror Time Tunnel to emerge in the present and if you're feeling brave you can choose to face your fears and descend into in the former plague pit; the London Tombs where a few more surprises will chill your bones. It's a thrilling experience using the latest in Hollywood style wizardry and our marvellous real life characters guiding you through the ages on the bridge. Leaving Glasgow you will head north-west through the rugged Highlands of Scotland until you reach Inveraray, a quaint town built in the mid-18th century on the shores of Loch Fyne. Here you can choose to visit Inveraray Castle* the historic home of the Duke of Argyll, chief of the Clan Campbell, nestled in large beautiful gardens overlooking Loch Fyne. Alternatively, explore the town’s white-washed Georgian houses, wide streets and breathtaking views across the loch.  Your route climbs further north into the Highlands through stunning scenery marked by several dramatic castles and beautiful lochs. You'll pause to admire Kilchurn Castle, one of Scotland’s most photographed castles, nestled on the banks of Loch Awe and beautifully framed by mountains.  Next you will make a stop for lunch in the picturesque harbour town of Oban, ‘Gateway to the Isles’, with free time to explore its horseshoe bay and see MacCaig’s Folly, an iconic 19th century tower reminiscent of the Colosseum in Rome.  After free time exploring, we travel onwards past the 15th century Castle Stalker, which is set on a small island on Loch Laich, before reaching Glencoe, one of Scotland’s most haunting glens and site of the 1692 massacre of the MacDonald clan.  The return journey will take you over the dramatic landscape of Rannoch Moor and the Black Mount before you make the final stop at the pretty conservation village of Luss on the ‘Bonnie, Bonnie Banks’ of Loch Lomond. Here you can feel free to walk along the shore or admire the village before returning to Glasgow.  *OPTIONAL EXTRA. You will be welcomed with a glass of sparkling wine and seated at your private table (private table guaranteed when purchasing at least 2 tickets). The cruise will start with a view of illuminated Prague Castle and Charles Bridge while piano music plays. When you pass by the Rudolfinum, a delicious starter will be served. A professional chef has compiled the gourmet menu so you can combine individual courses as you wish. You can choose from 3 different meals for each course, and a vegetarian option is available upon prior booking. The menu also includes a selection of fine wines, aperitifs and non-alcoholic beverages. You can enjoy the main course surrounded by Prague's top sights – the National Theatre and Dancing House, both of which will be lit up and glowing in the night. You can learn about Prague's sights you pass by in the printed guide with a route map. The cruise will continue past Kampa Island to the old river locks. Here the cruise slows down and you will have enough time to choose a dessert and order a coffee or a digestif. After reaching Vyšehrad, the boat turns and heads back. On the way back to the dock you will pass by the Straka Academy, the Civic Swimming Pool and Prague Metronome above your head. At the end of the cruise you can enjoy the magnificent view of Prague's panorama at night once again before landing.

Discover the last resting place of the Kings of France and its unique collection of 70 sculpted tombs. Tour of the Basilica of St Denis Here you'll be able to see the grave of Saint Denis, a Bishop of Paris who died in 250 AD, the royal abbey of Saint-Denis, the burial place of 43 kings, 32 queens and 10 servants of the monarchy. During this visit you'll also be able to see the basilica which was raised to the rank of cathedral in 1966. Enter the Museum of sculptures, featuring over 70 recumbent statues and monumental tombs from the Renaissance, see how the basilica contains within its walls the largest collection of funerary sculptures from the 12th to the 16th century. The birth of Gothic art, the church designed by Abbot Suger, the kings' advisor from 1135 to 1144, completed in the 13th century during the reign of Saint Louis: a major work of Gothic art, this church was the first place of great importance of light and symbol of divinity in religious architecture.
