We will visit the Crown Jewels, including the magnificent solid-gold crown used at the coronation of Queen Elizabeth II, the enormous Cullinan diamonds and the extraordinary Koh-i-Noor. And finally.... River Thames cruise from the Tower of London. Sunday in London and due to church services St Paul's Cathedral is closed to visitors on Sunday. We will stop for photographs and spend longer in the Tower of London. Please arrive at least 15 Mins before your departure time. Lunch stop at McGann's pub where you can Enjoy some home-made soups, light meals, cakes and desserts, as well as a wide selection of hot and cold drinks if you desire in the picturesque village of Doolin We make our way to Doolin Cave for the 2pm Tour. You'll never see anything else like it.... Oh, and did we mention, your Driver and his father built the very tunnel you went down in today - did you spot his picture on the wall? After the Cave, we make our way to The Burren - a region of County Clare in the southwest of Ireland. It’s a karst landscape of bedrock incorporating a vast cracked pavement of glacial-era limestone, with cliffs and caves, fossils, rock formations and archaeological sites.  After the Burren, we make our way to Galway City. The city’s hub is 18th-century Eyre Square, a popular meeting spot surrounded by shops, traditional pubs, stone-clad cafes, boutiques and art galleries within winding lanes and medieval city walls. Departing Edinburgh, you travel north-west for your first stop of the day at magnificent Stirling Castle*, one of Scotland’s most historically significant castles, sitting high on volcanic rock and offering wonderful views of the surrounding landscape. You will have time to visit the castle and learn of the exploits of key historic figures including William Wallace, Robert the Bruce and Mary Queen of Scots. With lots of interesting things to see and do here, the Stirling Castle experience is a must for any visitor to Scotland.  You then continue on, past medieval Doune Castle, to the pretty town of Callander, situated on the banks of the River Teith in Stirlingshire, where you will have a chance to stop to enjoy some lunch. From here we enter The Trossachs National Park, also known as “The Highlands in miniature” for its abundance of lochs, mountains and forests, and famous as the homeland of legendary outlaw, Rob Roy MacGregor.  You will then reach the bonnie banks of Loch Lomond, one of the prettiest and largest lochs in the whole of Scotland. Here you can enjoy an hour long cruise* taking in spectacular views of the loch’s many islands and the surrounding mountains. Alternatively, take a stroll through the picturesque loch-side conservation village of Luss, with its quaint houses, cafes and stunning views across the loch’s western shoreline.
