Kew Gardens, is a World Heritage Site located in 121 hectares of stunning vistas with six magnificent glasshouses set in a beautiful landscape beside the River Thames between Richmond and KEW in south-west London. Kew Gardens represents more than 250 years of historical gardens. In the summer of 2004, Kew's determination to make serious botany great fun for children was demonstrated with the opening of 'Climbers and Creepers'. Bringing a new use to an old cycad house by White Peaks, Climbers and Creepers engages children from around 3-9 years in the pleasures of learning more about plants and their relationships with animals and people. Apart from the sheer beauty and tranquillity of the garden's landscapes Kew offers a wonderful day out for all, whether horticulturally, historically or botanically inclined. Spring: Mid-February - early March: A million-and-a-half crocuses below the Temple of Bellona between Victoria Gate and King William's Temple - one of Kew's most spectacular displays (typically late Feb - early March). Camellias between Victoria Gate and the Shirley Sherwood Gallery of Botanic Art. Spring bedding and spring flowers in the open woodland around the Azalea Garden. Daffodils, forsythia and cherry blossom.  Orchids, bromeliads and anthuriums in Kew’s Tropical Extravaganza, an annual display of exotic blooms in the Princess of Wales Conservatory. Royal Delfin La excursión de 2 horas es una buena manera de disfrutar del mar. Cuando las ballenas y delfines se encuentran cerca de la embarcación, se tienen vistas excelentes a través de las ventanas acristaladas, pero si se encuentran lejos, se pueden ver igualmente desde la cubierta. La observación de estos animales es parecida a la pesca y no siempre se puede asegurar que  se pueden ver, pero definitivamente tiene más posibilidades de verlas en estas aguas que en cualquier otro lugar de Europa. A través del cristal podrá ver una gran variedad de peces, y si las ballenas nadan por debajo del barco las podrá observar desde muy cerca. A unique experience where you will discover how talented these energetic mammals are in and out of the water! On 26th of November four specimens of bottlenose dolphins arrived to Lanzarote, from Duisburg and Nuremberg (Germany), which were successfully transported in a specially equipped transport airplane in the company of a team of veterinarians, biologists and caregivers. Their acclimatisation to the new facilities built for them is satisfactory in every way. Their health is optimum, they feed normally and thoroughly enjoy the seven million litres of seawater that fill the spacious and deep pools of their new home. Conditions: Adults and children must be 8+ years old and 1.10+ meters high. Each child from 8 to 12 years old must be accompanied by an adult (18+), who also participates and pays for the interaction.  The groups are limited to 12 people to secure maximum enjoyment! Participants must bring a swimsuit and towel, the use of sun tan cream is not permitted. Participants must remove all jewellery prior to entering the water.
