Discover the last resting place of the Kings of France and its unique collection of 70 sculpted tombs. Tour of the Basilica of St Denis Here you'll be able to see the grave of Saint Denis, a Bishop of Paris who died in 250 AD, the royal abbey of Saint-Denis, the burial place of 43 kings, 32 queens and 10 servants of the monarchy. During this visit you'll also be able to see the basilica which was raised to the rank of cathedral in 1966. Enter the Museum of sculptures, featuring over 70 recumbent statues and monumental tombs from the Renaissance, see how the basilica contains within its walls the largest collection of funerary sculptures from the 12th to the 16th century. The birth of Gothic art, the church designed by Abbot Suger, the kings' advisor from 1135 to 1144, completed in the 13th century during the reign of Saint Louis: a major work of Gothic art, this church was the first place of great importance of light and symbol of divinity in religious architecture.

Your Journey: Departing from Queenstown, a knowledgeable driver will provide an informative commentary on the points of interest along one of the world’s most picturesque drives – The Milford Road. Stop for some great photo opportunities along the way, before enjoying a two hour cruise aboard one of our specially designed small boats in Milford Sound. Sit back and relax as you cruise the length of the 16km fiord, out past St Annes Point Lighthouse, while skipper highlights points of interest along the way, including the mighty Lady Bowen Falls, Lion Mountain, Copper Point, Seal Rock and Stirling Falls.  Keep an eye out for local wildlife that can be found in the fiord, with New Zealand fur seals and dolphins spotted regularly, while occasionally the rare Fiordland Crested Penguin makes an appearance when in season. During the return journey we will have a brief refreshment break in the lakeside town of Te Anau. Aquí residió El Greco, gran pintor del siglo XVI, del que en 2014 se cumplió el cuarto centenario de su muerte. Una vez en Toledo comenzarán el tour visitando el exterior de la Catedral, poco después se dirigirán al interior del Sto. Tomé la iglesia con "El entierro del señor de Orgaz", obra maestra de El Greco, luego visitarán el interior de la Sinagoga de Santa María la Blanca y finalmente el interior del increíble monasterio de San Juan de los Reyes. Una vez finalizadas estas visitas, se ofrece una demostración de la famosa técnica del damasceno* (incrustación de metales preciosos en acero), forja de espadas; una vez finalizada la demostración, tendrá tiempo libre para comprar algo si lo desea. El tour finaliza con una visita panorámica de Toledo y una parada en un mirador con impresionantes vistas de la ciudad para tomar las mejores fotografías de Toledo.
