Your friend must have a car with a battery in good condition, this will aid in the success on starting your flat battery. Connect one end of the SSJL200 red jump lead to the positive (+) terminal of the boosting battery (Do not let the other end of the red lead touch any vehicle metal components) and connect the other end of the red lead to the positive (+) terminal of the flat battery.
