London Zoo With over 760 different species to discover, a visit to ZSL London Zoo is the perfect day out for people of all ages. And make sure you don't miss our amazing new exhibit Penguin Beach - England's biggest penguin pool! Animal Adventure We have just launched Animal Adventure, our new Children's Zoo. This exhibit provides thousands upon thousands of children with the chance to immerse themselves in the sights, sounds, smells and experiences of life in the animal kingdom. Penguin Beach The exhibit’s 1200 sq metre pool is four times bigger and three times deeper than the Zoo’s old penguin pool and will hold 450,000 litres of water. Our large demonstration area turns feeding time in to an even bigger spectacle than before. Penguin Beach Live will feature twice daily feeds where visitors can watch the birds diving for their food. Penguin Beach will be a breeding facility for colonies of Humboldt, macaroni, black-footed and rockhopper penguins and will include a special penguin nursery. This will include a chick incubation unit and a pool where the youngsters can learn how to swim. Butterfly Paradise ZSL London Zoo’s Butterfly Paradise exhibit features species from several major regions including Africa, South-east Asia and Central and South America. Meet the Monkeys Two years ago, we launched our Meet the Monkeys walkthrough. The enclosure was built to house a breeding group of black-capped squirrel monkeys in a habitat designed to recreate the Bolivian rainforests as closely as possible in the centre of London Aquarium The Aquarium has been at ZSL London Zoo since 1853, and has a very interesting history. Separated into three different halls, which are home to different types of fish, the Aquarium is involved in many different conservation projects and breeding programmes Blackburn Pavilion Take flight to our new tropical bird walk-through the Blackburn Pavilion, and be transported to a jungle paradise in the centre of London! Clore Rainforest Lookout New at ZSL London Zoo. Feel the heat of South America within our tropical biome filled with tropical trees and alive with South American monkeys, birds and invertebrates. With nothing separating you from this amazing habitat. Gorilla Kingdom This pioneering £5.3 million exhibit brings Central Africa to the heart of London. It gives visitors the chance to experience the amazing world of these animals in a natural setting with no bars. Interactive features and educational activities will appeal to visitors from all walks of life. Gorilla Kingdom highlights the threats faced by these majestic creatures in the wild. ZSL works to conserve and protect them, and this exhibit marks an important development in awareness and support for their plight. SEA LIFE London Aquarium The SEA LIFE London Aquarium is home to one of Europe’s largest collections of global marine life and the jewel in the crown of the 28 SEA LIFE attractions in the UK and Europe. Situated in the heart of London, the experience takes visitors on an immersive and interactive journey along the Great Oceanic Conveyor. The mysterious experience, spread over three floors, starts by taking a submarine style lift to the depths of the Atlantic Ocean. Along the journey, a stunning glass tunnel walkway offers guests an unforgettable experience by strolling underneath a Tropical Ocean. There is plenty of interaction along the way, from feeding the stingrays and watching diving displays to touch pools and discovery zones. Other stars of the show include green turtles, seahorses, octopus, zebra sharks and the ever popular clown fish. The true highlight however, commences as guests complete their journey in the deeper darker zone of the Pacific Ocean - take a walk on the wild side and watch 10 species of shark swim beneath your feet from a suspended glass platform. As well as allowing millions of people to discover the marvels of the marine world, the SEA LIFE network has an important role to play in helping safeguard our seas and their inhabitants for the future. The SEA LIFE London Aquarium provides the UK with a leading centre of excellence on marine management, conservation, preservation and education in the heart of the capital. CROCODILES TO TAKE UP RESIDENCE AT SEA LIFE LONDON AQUARIUM Crocodiles, Piranhas, a family of Poison Arrow Frogs and a host of exotic aquatic creatures will be taking up residence in an entirely new Rainforests of the World area at the SEA LIFE London Aquarium this Easter. Rainforests of the World will totally replace the existing rainforest area and provide a snapshot into the vulnerable eco-systems of Malaysia, West Africa and South America. In an immersive journey across three continents guests will get up close and personal with some of the rainforests’ most famous and feared residents. A pair of 6 ft West African Dwarf Crocodiles will be just snapping distance away in a specially created wetland habitat mirroring their African home. The family of highly toxic Poison Arrow Frogs will provide a kaleidoscope of colour, but watch out for the alluring yellow Golden Dart Frog, the most lethal of them all. Continuing the small but deadly theme is one of Europe’s biggest collections of Piranha fish famed for their flesh eating frenzies.  

Visits to the tour and museum usually last around two and a half hours, including 90 minutes for the tour and an hour for the museum. Highlights of the new Museum include: Fantastic New Cinema Within the walls of the new Wimbledon Lawn Tennis Museum is a remarkable cinema. The Cinema features a 200° screen that immerses the viewer into the world of The Championships by showing a film about the science of tennis. Filming took place during the 2005 Championships on Centre Court of Russia's Maria Sharapova against Spain's Nuria Llagostera Vives. Graham English Productions used a special panoramic rig that used 5 cameras at the same time, the result of which is a film that can be frozen and rotated around the field of action at any time. Using this technique, the film focuses on 20 different aspects of the match and showed viewers how players' bodies and equipment are affected during the course of a professional tennis match. McEnroe's Ghost Sighted at the New Museum Bringing together an old technique called 'Pepper's Ghost' with new projection and filming technology, the museum is able to create an exciting way to view a scene from Wimbledon's past. In a recreation of the 1980s Gentlemen's Dressing Room, a ghost-like image of John McEnroe appears and takes you through a tour of the normally off-limits area. McEnroe reminisces about his memories about the Dressing Room, including how he first met Jimmy Connors and how he would emotionally prepare himself for matches. The Whites of Wimbledon The fashions of Wimbledon continue to be a point of attention and significance to the story of tennis and the new Museum will house an extensive collection of Wimbledon attire. Everything from outfits worn in the 1880s to Rafeal Nadal's dri-fit 'pirate' trousers are on display. There is also an interactive exhibit where you can feel the weight difference between male and female clothing in 1884. Extraordinary New Technology Interactive touch screen consoles are evenly distributed throughout the Museum hallways. These information access points make up a part of the new and exiting technologies within the Museum. Other features are the 'Get a Grip' rotating wheel of rackets; 'The Reactor' game and an archive of great past Championship matches, all of which can be enjoyed by visitors of any age. Tour Visitors may also take a tour of the grounds, led by specially trained Blue Badge Guides, and gain access to restricted areas normally closed to the public. Hotels are plentiful in nearby Titusville or the Cocoa Beach area, just south of Cape Canaveral. *Additional fee, to be paid direct at KSCVC. Great weather, fantastic water slides and reasonably priced menus you can buy from the cafes & restaurants make this a great family outing. There is, literally, something for everyone and the dolphin exhibitions (12:00 & 16:00 h) will be sure to amaze both young and old alike. Professional photographers are on hand and capture some great photographs that are displayed near the exit. You are not under any obligation to buy the photographs but the quality is so good you may find it hard to refuse! This year the rings are free so no need to hire your own. From the top of the attractions you will be able to see for miles and if you wish to leave the park to perhaps sit on the beach, which is just across the road from the park, you can get a pass out for 30 minutes. This truly is a wonderful holiday experience. Adrenalin seekers will love: Black Hole, Kamikaze, Splash, Boomerang and Hurricane and for a small extra cost you can really surf the waves on Surf Waimea, a new attraction unique to Aquopolis. For $6 you can enjoy up to one hour on this fantastic attraction. In the months of July and August, parts of the park will be open with a chill out zone, drinks, snacks,mini golf and mini pedal cars and Surf Waimea available.
