Die Royal Mews ist eine wichtige Zweigstelle des Lord Chamberlain's Office, welches Transporte für die Queen und Mitglieder der königlichen Familie mit Pferdekutschen und Motorwagen organisiert. Der Hofstall ist verantwortlich für die Ausbildung der Windsor Greys und Cleveland Bays – der Pferde, die die königlichen Kutschen ziehen.
Die Staatsfahrzeuge werden in den Royal Mews untergebracht und gewartet. Die Kutschen aus den Royal Mews werden jedes Jahr rund 50 Mal genutzt, um neu ernannte Minister und Botschafter zu ihrer offiziellen Residenz zum Buckingham Palace zu bringen. Seit 1843 bricht täglich ein Botschafter vom Hofstall auf, um Post zwischen dem Buckingham Palace und dem St. James's Palace auszutauschen.

Leaving Glasgow you will head north-west through the rugged Highlands of Scotland until you reach Inveraray, a quaint town built in the mid-18th century on the shores of Loch Fyne. Here you can choose to visit Inveraray Castle* the historic home of the Duke of Argyll, chief of the Clan Campbell, nestled in large beautiful gardens overlooking Loch Fyne. Alternatively, explore the town’s white-washed Georgian houses, wide streets and breathtaking views across the loch.
Your route climbs further north into the Highlands through stunning scenery marked by several dramatic castles and beautiful lochs. You'll pause to admire Kilchurn Castle, one of Scotland’s most photographed castles, nestled on the banks of Loch Awe and beautifully framed by mountains.
Next you will make a stop for lunch in the picturesque harbour town of Oban, ‘Gateway to the Isles’, with free time to explore its horseshoe bay and see MacCaig’s Folly, an iconic 19th century tower reminiscent of the Colosseum in Rome.
After free time exploring, we travel onwards past the 15th century Castle Stalker, which is set on a small island on Loch Laich, before reaching Glencoe, one of Scotland’s most haunting glens and site of the 1692 massacre of the MacDonald clan.
The return journey will take you over the dramatic landscape of Rannoch Moor and the Black Mount before you make the final stop at the pretty conservation village of Luss on the ‘Bonnie, Bonnie Banks’ of Loch Lomond. Here you can feel free to walk along the shore or admire the village before returning to Glasgow.

Are you ready to experience all the attractions that Cartagena has to offer? Just hop-on the open top bus at Bodeguita Marina and enjoy the sunshine and the fresh smell of sea salt as you make your way to the Pastelillo - the oldest fort in Cartagena. Make sure you hop-off at Bus Stop 3 to take photos of the glorious clock tower, the Torre del Reloj, situated right in the historic centre of the city. If you want to explore the history of Cartagena in more detail then hop-off at the Rafael Núñez at Bus Stop 5 where you'll get an insight into the life of one of Colombia's most memorable ex-presidents.
Fancy a game? We'll take you to the Casino Río where you can immerse yourself into the Colombian culture, sip on a rum and have some fun! One bus stop not to miss is the Walled City of Cartagena. Hop-off the bus tour to take a stroll along the squares or get a bite to eat in one of the bars, it truly is an unforgettable experience!

- Siam Parks’ most iconic feature, The Tower of Power, is also its most jaw-dropping thrill ride. Climb the tower, take a deep breath and hang on to your swim wear as you plunge down the almost vertical 28 metre drop in “free-fall” and emerge (unscathed but screaming your head off!) via a mysterious aquarium.
- The Lost City uncover the secrets of this splashy water fortress as you venture across bridges, through waterfalls and down gentle slides. This is the park attraction for kids that adults love!

Leaving Edinburgh you will travel west where your first stop is the Wallace Monument* in Stirling; a towering stone testimonial to the Scottish legend William Wallace. Inside you will find fascinating exhibits leading you through the life of the real Braveheart, and most impressive of all, Wallace’s legendary 5ft 6in(1.7m) tall broadsword. You then travel north to Gleneagles Hotel Estate - one of Scotland’s world class golf courses and site of the 2014 Ryder Cup. Enjoy a photo opportunity here and see where the international legends of golf play.
You continue your journey through the pretty countryside of Perthshire to your next stop in Crieff, where you visit The Famous Grouse Experience* at Glenturret Distillery. Learn about the traditional whisky-making process, see how you measure up to the world’s largest bottle of whisky and sample some of ‘The Water of Life’ itself at the fantastic Taste Experience bar. Timberbush Tours customers can also enjoy an exclusive tasting of the Black Grouse Alpha Edition; a rich, smoky blend available only at Glenturret Distillery. Enjoy a range of tasty lunch options in the Glenturret Café or take a stroll in the distillery grounds.
After lunch you move on through the picturesque scenery of the “Sma’ Glen” until you reach the beautiful Hermitage for a short woodland walk (time permitting). Afterwards, you then continue on to the town of Dunkeld, where there will be a break for refreshments and a visit to ancient Dunkeld Cathedral. You will then leave Perthshire and journey to the charming town of South Queensferry, where you can make a brief stop to admire magnificent views of the Forth Bridges before returning to Edinburgh.
