In the last two decades we have confirmed more than 1500 new planets, called exoplanets, orbiting other stars; thousands more are awaiting study. Explore artifacts from the Adler collections that illustrate the ever-evolving definition of a planet. This temporary exhibition, which is included with general admission, will be open to the public from March 19, 2016 through January 8, 2017. Mission Moon - WHAT YOU WILL DISCOVER Mission Moon invites you to experience America’s first steps into space through the eyes of NASA’s Captain James A. Lovell Jr. and his family. You’ll find out how the United States became the first nation to put a man on the Moon, what it’s really like to be an astronaut, and why it takes a team to explore uncharted worlds. Community Design Lab - In the Community Design Lab (CDL), you can test different materials to find out which ones will survive the journey to 100,000 feet above the Earth’s surface. Your discoveries may find their way into a future flight with Far Horizons, the Adler’s high-altitude ballooning program! If you could photograph an object in space, what would it be, and who would you share it with? In the CDL, you can build a DIY telescope-mount for your smartphone and become an instant astrophotographer! Test it out on one of our ’scopes and share your photos on social media. Clark Family Gallery WHAT YOU WILL DISCOVER This futuristic, constantly changing environment features a one-of-a-kind architecture with vibrant lighting and video presentations. It was created using approximately 13,000 linear feet of aluminum tubing and 20,000 square yards of fabric. The gallery also has 125 LED lights, each capable of producing sixteen million different colors and over two billion different lighting combinations. Astronomy in Culture - WHAT YOU WILL DISCOVER Go back in time and learn about some of the people and societies who have challenged themselves to understand our place in the Universe. This exhibition features spectacular astrolabes, armillary spheres, and sundials to illustrate the medieval European and Middle Eastern conception of the Universe. Visit our medieval classroom to find out how much different school was back then. Learn how to use early astronomy tools including astrolabes and sundials. Atwood Sphere - WHAT YOU WILL DISCOVER Experience the night sky over Chicago as it appeared in 1913 in the Atwood Sphere – Chicago’s oldest planetarium. Although the star positions have not changed since then, we can see only a small percentage of these stars in our current night sky due to light pollution. The sphere is seventeen feet in diameter and has 692 holes drilled through its metal surface. These holes allow light to enter and show the positions of the brightest stars in the night sky. Take a live guided tour of the Atwood Sphere and identify stars and the constellations they form.

Le Secret de la Lance Leave the Hundred Years War behind and go through the moat to discover a wide range of activities for the whole family and the Grand Parc’s new show «The Lovers of Verdun». Mousquetaire de Richelieu By the Grand Carrousel, the wonderful French gardens lead you to the Imaginary World of La Fontaine. Then experience the Belle Epoque atmosphere of the Market Town in 1900. Le Bal des Oiseaux Fantômes Deep in the ancient forest, Puy du Fou’s natural surroundings become part of a unique show. From the birds of prey aviaries to Flower Valley, enjoy wandering through a world in which nature reasserts itself. Les Orgues de Feu The Puy du Fou is also the kingdom of children. They are fascinated by the shows and have fun in the Grand Parc’s games and entertainment, before the magic of the Organs of Fire.

The State Rooms Buckingham Palace serves as both the office and London residence of Her Majesty The Queen, as well as the administrative headquarters of the Royal Household. It is one of the few working royal palaces remaining in the world today. Today the Buckingham Palace State Rooms are used extensively by Her Majesty The Queen and Members of the Royal Family to receive and entertain their guests on State, ceremonial and official occasions. During August and September when The Queen makes her annual visit to Scotland, the Palace's nineteen state rooms are open to visitors. What there is to see? The Buckingham Palace State Rooms form the heart of the working palace and are lavishly furnished with some of the greatest treasures from the Royal Collection - paintings by Rembrandt, Rubens, Poussin and Canaletto; sculpture by Canova; exquisite examples of Sèvres porcelain; and some of the finest English and French furniture. In celebration of The Queen's 90th birthday, a special exhibition will be staged across each of Her Majesty's official residences during 2016. Fashioning a Reign: 90 Years of Style from The Queen's Wardrobe (30 July – 25 September 2016) The Garden Described as a 'walled oasis in the middle of London', the Palace's garden is home to thirty different species of bird and more than 350 different wild flowers, some extremely rare. Visitors end their tour with a walk along the south side of the garden, with splendid views of the west front of the Palace and the famous lake. Changing of the Guard The Changing of the Guard ceremony takes place at 11:30 daily from April until the end of July and on alternate days for the rest of the year, weather permitting. The new guards arrive at the forecourt of the Palace at 11:30 from Wellington Barracks. The journey takes about 5 minutes and the soldiers are accompanied by a band. The ceremony is conducted on the Palace forecourt and takes approximately forty minutes to complete. La montaña del Tibidabo es visible desde casi toda la ciudad de Barcelona. Alzando por encima de la ciudad hasta los 518 metros de altura, la Montaña del Tibidabo es el pico más alto de la Sierra de Collserola. Gracias a su privilegiada situación es un lugar de visita frecuente para viajeros y curiosos que desean ver unas increíbles vistas de Barcelona y la línea costera. Además de sus magníficas vistas, Tibidabo también es famoso por su Parque de Atracciones. Construido en 1889, en Parque será un emocionante viaje al pasado. Si ya está cansado de visitar catedrales y museos en Barcelona, escape del ajetreo de la ciudad y aventúrese hacia el Tibidabo. Hay 3 razones principales por las que la gente visita la montaña: las vistas, el Templo del Sagrado Corazón, una Iglesia católica diseñada por Enric Sagnier, y el Parque de Atracciones. El Parque de Atracciones del Tibidabo es el lugar perfecto para familias, parejas y grupos. Durante años, el Parque ha conservado muchas de sus atracciones originales, muchas provenientes de principios del Siglo XX. En 6 niveles podrá encontrar diferentes atracciones incluyendo: montañas rusas, una atracción de troncos, autos de choque, un carrusel y mucho más. También hay autobuses que van directamente hasta el Parque (2'95€ por persona), y aunque son muy cómodos, ¡tienen menos encanto!
