In churning river channels, still lakes and even flooded treetops look for tetras, turtles and fruit-eating fish called tambaqui. Abbott Oceanarium The Abbott Oceanarium immerses you in the vibrant coastal ecosystem of beluga whales, Pacific white-sided dolphins, sea otters and sea lions. You’ll also find a host of fishes and invertebrates that make their homes where freshwater flows into the ocean or where tides turn seascapes to landscapes and back again each day. Use our self-guided map to discover how animals are linked to each other, their homes and you. Polar Play Zone Kids have a place at Shedd that they can call their own—Polar Play Zone. It’s cool as ice and twice as nice! The penguins think so, too. Play! Splash! Pretend! What would you like to be? A sleek sliding penguin? A deep-sea explorer? How about both? In Polar Play Zone, you can slip into a penguin suit and try being a bird in the Icy South play area. From there, head to the Icy North to explore the belugas’ Arctic waters in a kid-sized submarine. Don’t forget to shake hands—or is it arms?—with colorful sea stars in the touch pools. In Polar Play Zone, you’ll learn about polar opposites—big and small, fast and slow, shallow and deep, even north and south—while you play. Our first stop is going to be at the famous “Welcome to Fabulous Las Vegas Sign for Pictures opportunities and a Champagne Toast” Explore the largest Chocolate Fountain in the World as you enjoy an inside look at the Bellagio Conservatory. You will also be viewing the Spectacular Fountains of Bellagio Hotel. This amazing show is one of the largest water fountain shows known. Be blown away by the fountain shooting water in upwards of 240 feet into the air. Be amazed while these fountains are choreographed to various pieces of music, including songs such as "Viva Las Vegas", "Luck Be a Lady", and "My Heart Will Go On. We have saved the best for last as you enjoy the most popular Las Vegas Lights & Sounds show in Las Vegas brought to you in “Viva Vision” as they play “Tribute to Queen” at the Fremont Street Experience. More than 12 million LED lamps illuminate the overhead canopy. The Viva Vision display was designed and engineered by LG Electronics, who is also the primary corporate sponsor of the canopy. Titanic Experience Belfast + SS Nomadic Discover what it was like to board the RMS Titanic on her fateful maiden voyage with a visit to Titanic Belfast and the SS Nomadic. Be in awe of the building as it was built to the same gigantic scale as the RMS Titanic. This exhibition is informative and interactive, making it fun, engaging and accessible for everyone. The adventure begins the moment you walk into the building’s giant atrium, surrounded by the four ‘hull’ shaped sections which house the experience. As you wander up through Titanic Belfast, you’ll learn about Belfast at the turn of the century and experience a thrilling ride through the reconstruction of the shipyards and the Titanic under construction. Discover the stories of the passengers, the crew and the heroes of the day; relive the tragic end to Titanic’s maiden voyage, and visit the wreck at her resting place on the floor of the Atlantic. Enjoy breath-taking views to the slip-ways where the Titanic was launched and relax in one of the superb catering outlets. The SS Nomadic is located in the Hamilton Dry Dock adjacent to Titanic Belfast. Not only is she famous for being the tender ship to the RMS Titanic, but she also served in World War I and II. Visitors can walk in the footsteps of Titanic Passengers and soldiers and celebrities such as Charlie Chaplin, Elizabeth Taylor, Richard Burton and Marie Curie. Following a stint as a Parisian restaurant and nightclub, the SS Nomadic was restored to her original glory and came back home to Belfast. Visitors can now experience a rich, tangible and authentic piece of Belfast's industrial and maritime heritage. Please note that children must be accompanied by adults at all times.
