The experienced DreamPix team are on hand to take unlimited photos of your fun-filled experience. Whether it be roving around the park or snapshotting you meeting your favourite characters or DreamWorks Heroes. The stationary fast-twitch cameras will also capture all the thrills on your favourite rides.  Photos can be downloaded and printed at the DreamPix in-store kiosks. And if you prefer to be behind the lens – cameras and other accessories can also be purchased at the DreamPix photo store, located near the park’s front entrance.

Athlone Castle has a striking presence in the heart of the Co. Westmeath town which resonates with the 800 years of history it encompasses. It was owned at times by either the Dillons or by the O'Kellys, two rival families. It was also residence of the lord presidents of Connacht in the 16th and 17th centuries, the Jacobite central defence during the seiges of Athlone in the 1690s. It was a military barracks for almost 300 years. In 1967, the Old Athlone Society set up a museum in the castle and two years later it became a public monument.  The castle and visitor centre was reopened in November 2012 following extensive refurishments. There are now eight galleries chronicling the history of the town, the castle and the people of Athlone. Test replica weapons, try interactive games and take photographs dressed in period costumes! The SEA LIFE London Aquarium is home to one of Europe’s largest collections of global marine life and the jewel in the crown of the 28 SEA LIFE attractions in the UK and Europe. Situated in the heart of London, the experience takes visitors on an immersive and interactive journey along the Great Oceanic Conveyor. The mysterious experience, spread over three floors, starts by taking a submarine style lift to the depths of the Atlantic Ocean. Along the journey, a stunning glass tunnel walkway offers guests an unforgettable experience by strolling underneath a Tropical Ocean. There is plenty of interaction along the way, from feeding the stingrays and watching diving displays to touch pools and discovery zones. Other stars of the show include green turtles, seahorses, octopus, zebra sharks and the ever popular clown fish. The true highlight however, commences as guests complete their journey in the deeper darker zone of the Pacific Ocean - take a walk on the wild side and watch 10 species of shark swim beneath your feet from a suspended glass platform. As well as allowing millions of people to discover the marvels of the marine world, the SEA LIFE network has an important role to play in helping safeguard our seas and their inhabitants for the future. The SEA LIFE London Aquarium provides the UK with a leading centre of excellence on marine management, conservation, preservation and education in the heart of the capital. CROCODILES TO TAKE UP RESIDENCE AT SEA LIFE LONDON AQUARIUM Crocodiles, Piranhas, a family of Poison Arrow Frogs and a host of exotic aquatic creatures will be taking up residence in an entirely new Rainforests of the World area at the SEA LIFE London Aquarium this Easter. Rainforests of the World will totally replace the existing rainforest area and provide a snapshot into the vulnerable eco-systems of Malaysia, West Africa and South America. In an immersive journey across three continents guests will get up close and personal with some of the rainforests’ most famous and feared residents. A pair of 6 ft West African Dwarf Crocodiles will be just snapping distance away in a specially created wetland habitat mirroring their African home. The family of highly toxic Poison Arrow Frogs will provide a kaleidoscope of colour, but watch out for the alluring yellow Golden Dart Frog, the most lethal of them all. Continuing the small but deadly theme is one of Europe’s biggest collections of Piranha fish famed for their flesh eating frenzies.  

Great weather, fantastic water slides and reasonably priced menus you can buy from the cafes & restaurants make this a great family outing. There is, literally, something for everyone and the dolphin exhibitions (12:00 & 16:00 h) will be sure to amaze both young and old alike. Professional photographers are on hand and capture some great photographs that are displayed near the exit. You are not under any obligation to buy the photographs but the quality is so good you may find it hard to refuse! This year the rings are free so no need to hire your own. From the top of the attractions you will be able to see for miles and if you wish to leave the park to perhaps sit on the beach, which is just across the road from the park, you can get a pass out for 30 minutes. This truly is a wonderful holiday experience. Adrenalin seekers will love: Black Hole, Kamikaze, Splash, Boomerang and Hurricane and for a small extra cost you can really surf the waves on Surf Waimea, a new attraction unique to Aquopolis. For $6 you can enjoy up to one hour on this fantastic attraction. In the months of July and August, parts of the park will be open with a chill out zone, drinks, snacks,mini golf and mini pedal cars and Surf Waimea available.
