Der Genelec 8050 ist der größte 2-Weg-Studiomonitor der 8000er-Serie. Er eignet sich für Musikproduktion, Mastering, Postproduktion und Broadcast. Mit großen Pegelreserven ist er für nahe und mittlere Hördistanzen auch in größeren Räumen bis ca. 40 m² ausgelegt. Das robuste Aluminium-Gehäuse bietet entscheidende akustische Vorteile: Die abgerundeten Kanten verhindern Schallbeugung und sorgen für perfekte Ortung und Abbildung. Die Schallführung bietet eine breite Hörzone und einen absolut neutralen Klang. Auch außerhalb des Sweet Spots kann ermüdungsfrei und entscheidungssicher gearbeitet werden. Der lange strömungsoptimierte Bassreflex-Kanal erweitert den Bassbereich bis 32 Hz. Aufstellungsbedingte Verfärbungen können über schaltbare Filter kompensiert werden. Der Frequenzgang kann so auch bei nicht idealer Aufstellung linearisiert werden. Der Iso-Pod Standfuß entkoppelt und ermöglicht die Neigung des Lautsprechers zur Ausrichtung auf die Hörposition.  Auch die Wand- oder Deckenmontage ist über Gewindebohrungen und passendes Zubehör flexibel möglich. Der 8050 schaltet sich bei anliegendem Signal automatisch ein. Nach einer Stunde ohne Audiosignal geht er in den Ruhezustand. Diese Funktion lässt sich bei Bedarf auch deaktivieren. Bei immer noch kompakten Abmessungen erhalten Sie ein leistungsfähiges Abhörsystem mit hervorragender Auflösung. Passende Subwoofer sind der Genelec 7370 oder 7071.
