Olivier Giraud was born in 1977 in Bordeaux. When he turned 18, he decided to become a chef so he left his hometown...Paris. A few years later, he graduated from one of the best catering school in France. He left Paris in 2001 for the United States of America (oh my gooooooood) where he became a waiter. After a wine training course where he finished Major of his hotel promotion, he won THE prize : 6 years visa in the USA! Quickly, he became a restaurant manager in this 5 star Hotel, «The Breakers», Palm Beach, Florida. 5 years later, he decided to go back to Paris to realise his childhood dream: becoming a comedian. In fact, during these few years, he laughed a lot about the cultural differences between Americans and French and he decided to write a one man show 100% in English about all these differences. On the 10 May 2009, his dream came true!!! The show «How to become a Parisian in one hour?» was born. Everybody in the theater industry told him that his project in English was a really stupid idea. Nobody wanted to bet on him so he decided to produce the show by himself and created his «French Arrogance Productions». What to Expect: Check-in: You will be greeted by our friendly staff who will help you to book flights and answer any questions. You will then be asked to fill out a waiver and will be introduced to your flight instructor. Briefing/Training: The flight instructor will instruct you about the process of the flight, as well as the rules and safety standards. You will be shown flying postures to acquire during the flight. A quick video will be played to first time flyers in addition to the training from the instructor. Gear Up: The flight instructor will give the you all the flying gear necessary and show you how to properly use it. Flight: At the beginning, the flight instructor will help you to get adjusted to the wind flow. When you are accustomed to it, the instructor will help you safely fly in the wind stream. If you can fly well, the instructor will rise with you in the air up to 10 feet in height. Flight Options • Taste of Flight: 1 flight – Equivalent to 3-12,000 skydives • Jungle Adventure: 2 flights – Equivalent to 6-12,000 skydives • Great Jungle Adventure: 3 flights – Equivalent to 9-12,000 skydives RESTRICTIONS & SAFETY You can fly if you are at least 3 years old, max. weight 285 lbs., shorter than 6’8”. Previous preparation and experience are not required. All flight equipment will be provided. Customer must follow instructor’s rules and guidance. Both the wind tunnel security features and the flight instructor will keep you safe. You cannot fly if you have severe joint injuries or fractures, have injuries restricting the movement of your back or other places, are pregnant, have epilepsy, are under the influence of alcohol and / or drugs. From Edinburgh you will travel north-west, passing Stirling Castle, before making your first stop at Kilmahog. Here there will be a break for some light refreshments and the chance to see some Highland cattle up close. Next you travel onwards through Rob Roy Country of Clans MacGregor and Campbell, then over the dramatic landscape of Rannoch Moor to Glencoe, one of Scotland’s most famous glens, site of the 1692 massacre of the Clan MacDonald. Here you can pause for a photo stop and to soak up the atmosphere in this haunting glen.  Continuing via Loch Linnhe, stopping in the Fort William area for lunch, then journey onwards, passing beneath Britain’s highest mountain, Ben Nevis, before we enter the natural beauty of the Great Glen. Travelling on, you can admire the Caledonian Canal and the pretty village of Fort Augustus, enjoying spectacular views of Loch Ness, as you drive along the shoreline to Urquhart Castle.  Loch Ness, 24 miles long and over 700 feet deep, is most famous for sightings of the Loch Ness monster, affectionately known as “Nessie”. You will spend 2 hours at Loch Ness, where you can choose to explore the ruins of Urquhart Castle*, learn of its history inside the modern visitor centre, and take an Award Winning Jacobite cruise* across the loch.  Passing through Inverness, Capital of the Highlands, you start your return for home, crossing the Grampian Mountains and the woodland scenery of Perthshire, including the Forest of Atholl, before enjoying an evening refreshment stop at the Victorian resort town of Pitlochry, en route back to Edinburgh. *OPTIONAL EXTRA.
