Das MagicBook, das Design-Elemente aus der Apple MacBook-Serie aufnimmt, ist ein leichtes Notebook. Es ist in drei Farbvarianten erhältlich - Glacier Silver, Star Grey und Nebula Purple.
Das Honor MagicBook verfügt über ein 14-Zoll Full-HD-Display (1920 x 1080 Pixel) mit 5,2 mm schmalen Rändern und einem Screen-zu-Body-Verhältnis von 81 Prozent. Das Display deckt den NTSC-Farbraum zu 45 Prozent ab und bietet einen Kontrast von 800:1, sowie 250 Nits Helligkeit. Das Ultrabook wird von Intel Core i5 (i5-8250u) oder Intel Core i7 (i5-8550u) Prozessor der 8. Generation angetrieben, gepaart mit 8GB RAM und 256GB SSD. Der Huawei Laptop verfügt außerdem über eine 2GB Nvidia GeForce GeForce MX150 Grafikkarte.
Sowohl die CPU als auch die GPU im Honor MagicBook teilen sich einen Lüfter über Heatpipes. Es nimmt kühle Luft von drei Öffnungen auf und bläst die heiße Luft nach außen. Unter der Haube befindet sich ein großer 57,4-Wh-Akku, der rund 12 Stunden Betriebszeit bietet. Der Akku kann über USB-Typ-C-Anschluss aufgeladen werden und das Unternehmen verspricht eine Ladekapazität von 0 Prozent bis 70 Prozent innerhalb einer Stunde.
Das Gehäuse des Honor MagicBook besteht aus Aluminium, misst 323 x 221 x 15.8mm und wiegt gerade einmal 1,47kg.
