The 1 Day Hop-On Hop-Off Pass combines two diverse tours on one incredible value ticket! It gives you the opportunity to explore Downtown San Francisco, the world famous GoldenGate Bridge, Golden Gate Park and charming Sausalito with unlimited hop-on hop-off use for 24 hours. Official City Tour The tour departs from Fisherman’s Wharf, taking you along the Embarcadero, Barbary Coast, the Ferry Building,Financial District, and right into San Francisco’s central shopping area at Union Square, before heading to the iconic Golden Gate Bridge. At South Vista Point you can walk across the 1.7 mile span of the bridge, or you can explore the Golden Gate Bridge Welcome Center and the Presidio. The tour continues into Golden Gate Park, one of the world’s largest man-made havens and one of the most popular places to see in San Francisco. With several stops throughout the park, you can visit the California Academy of Sciences, the De Young Museum, the Japanese Tea Garden, or the Botanical Gardens. Continuing the tour through Haight Ashbury, you will experience the so called “Hippie District”, before we head into the Civic Center area with many architectural landmarks, such as our impressive City Hall, the Opera House, Symphony Hall, the Asian Museum of Art and the public library. Passing Union Square, the tour continues into Chinatown and North Beach with its world-famous crooked Lombard Street, before returning to Fisherman’s Wharf, stopping at various waterfront locations, including Pier 39 where you can see the popular sea lions and explore the restaurants, shopping and many attractions for more fun in San Francisco. ​Sausalito Tour Take this tour from South Vista Point to have the best views of the Golden Gate Bridge from an open top bus while driving across the bridge to North Vista Point. From there you have breathtaking views of the San Francisco Bay (weather permitting), and on a nice day you can see the San Francisco skyline, Alcatraz Island and the Bay Bridge, making it a great photo stop for every visitor. The tour continues into Marin County and stops in charming Sausalito where you can hop off the bus, stroll around, shop, dine, visit various art galleries and enjoy a relaxing lunch by the waterfront.

Dive into Oceans, from coastal kelp forests to the seafloor. Explore the self-contained ecosystems of Islands and Lakes. Visit Rivers—big and small—and learn more about our local waters in the new At Home on the Great Lakes exhibit. Meet hundreds of amazing animals, from tiny mantella frogsto a a giant octopus, from a Grand Cayman blue iguana to Nile knifefish, and from moon jellies to sea stars. Use our self-guided map to discover how animals are linked to each other, their homes and you. Polar Play Zone Kids have a place at Shedd that they can call their own—Polar Play Zone. It’s cool as ice and twice as nice! The penguins think so, too. Play! Splash! Pretend! What would you like to be? A sleek sliding penguin? A deep-sea explorer? How about both? In Polar Play Zone, you can slip into a penguin suit and try being a bird in the Icy South play area. From there, head to the Icy North to explore the belugas’ Arctic waters in a kid-sized submarine. Don’t forget to shake hands—or is it arms?—with colorful sea stars in the touch pools. In Polar Play Zone, you’ll learn about polar opposites—big and small, fast and slow, shallow and deep, even north and south—while you play. Sie gesellen sich zu anderen Stars in der Party Area.   Tower Bridge Ausstellung Vor über 100 Jahren bauten die Viktorianer eine Brücke die zu einer der berühmtesten Attraktionen Londons wurde. Obere Fußgängerwege wurden gebaut damit Menschen die Themse überqueren können während die Brücke hochgezogen wird und große Schiffe an der Tower Bridge vorbeifahren können. Heute dienen diese Fußwege als Aussichtsgalerie, die den Besuchern die spektakulärsten Blicke auf eine sich stets wandelnde Londoner Skyline schenkt. Fußgängerwege & Ausstellung: Besucher betreten die Tower Bridge Ausstellung über den North Tower. Sie werden dann mit dem Aufzug auf die Spitze des Towers gebracht (47 Meter über der Themse) wo sie die einzigartige Gelegenheit haben, das Stahlgerüst der Brücke von innen zu sehen. Ein kleiner Film erklärt die Geschichte und Herkunft der Brücke und es besteht die Möglichkeit, von beiden überdachten Fußwegen aus die spektakulären Ausblicke zu bewundern. Auf dem östlichen Übergang gibt es eine fantastische Sicht auf die Docklands und vom westlichen Übergang können Sie das neue GLA Gebäude sehen, den Tower of London, St Paul’s, die Stadt, das Becken von London und Big Ben und das London Eye in der Entfernung. Interaktive Computerstände und grafische Tafeln erklären den Besuchern die Bedeutung der Aussichten und geben mehr Informationen zur Geschichte und zum Bau der Brücke. Das interaktive Material und die Grafiktafeln sind in sieben Sprachen verfasst und es ist auch für die Videoshow ein Audioaufhänger für Schwerhörige vorhanden. Im South Tower gibt es einen weiteren Film zu sehen, vor dem Abstieg für einen kleinen Spaziergang zum historischen Maschinenraum, inbegriffen in Ihrem Ticketpreis. Viktorianische Maschinenräume: Sie geben faszinierende Einblicke in das Konstruktionswesen des späten 19. Jahrhunderts.  Die großen und schön erhaltenen, kohlenbetriebenen Maschinen wurden zur Fertigstellung der Tower Bridge 1894 installiert, und genutzt um bis 1976 Tausende der Klappbrückenhebungen zu ermöglichen . Obwohl die Hebevorrichtungen heute mit Elektrizität funktionieren, sind die originalen Dampfmaschinen immer noch vorhanden. Die Maschinenräume geben Besuchern die Möglichkeit mit Modellen zu experimentieren, die die Technologie der Brücke demonstrieren. Es gibt auch erstaunliche Fotografien der Tower Bridge seit Ihres Bestehens – darunter ein aufschlussreiches Bild der schweren Stahlstruktur der Brücke, als die Steinverkleidung darüber montiert wurde.
