The Brighton Zip is a thrill ride on the Brighton seafront, providing a memorable activity for locals and visitors. The zip runs along the famous Brighton beach, boasting a 300-meter dual zip wire (the longest on the south coast) with an additional 24-meter drop zone for the real adrenaline junkies. Having climbed the impressive spiral staircase, you will reach the 17-meter high zip tower platform, where you are then 32 meters above sea level. The dual zip line means you can race against your friends and family into the hull of a boat landing stage along the beach, reaching impressively high speeds. What if it rains? Handa Opera on Sydney Harbour is an open-air and all-weather event The venue, audience seating, and the stage are completely uncovered. The event is an all-weather experience and Opera Australia is committed to going ahead with a performance of Handa Opera on Sydney Harbour even in doubtful or unfavourable weather conditions. Please come prepared so that you are as comfortable as possible, and ready to support the performers, who will carry on singing in the rain. Bring warm and waterproof clothing Sydney weather is full of surprises so we recommend that you dress with this in mind and bring warm, weatherproof clothing. Please note that although umbrellas can be brought to the venue, out of consideration for other members of the audience they cannot be used during the performance. Ponchos Ponchos will be available to purchase at the event for $5.00. We'll be selling the Biowear Eco Poncho. Made of corn, soy, and sunflower starches, these ponchos are biodegradable. Once disposed of, the poncho takes about a year to break down and become a protein of the ecosystem. We'll be donating any profit from the sale of ponchos to Clean Up Australia. Performance pauses and cancellations We will only cancel a performance during electrical storms (within 10km radius) or during times of extremely high winds and/or rain. The decision to cancel a performance is not made until 19.30 or later and a cancellation may be called during the performance. So please plan to travel to the venue for a 19.30 performance start time even in unfavourable weather conditions.  In some weather conditions La Bohème may have a delayed start time or be paused for up to 50 minutes at any point throughout the performance.  Auxiliary expenses including travel, accommodation or hospitality which you have arranged in conjunction with the performance are at your own risk and not refundable by Opera Australia. What do I wear? The weather is full of surprises so we recommend that you dress with this in mind and bring warm, weatherproof clothing. La Bohème is sung in Italian with English and Simplified Chinese subtitles. Can I purchase food and drinks at the venue? This BBQ trip from Albufeira is a full-day experience. The BBQ boat tour, on the pirate boat Leãozinho (little Lion), will most likely be the highlight of your holidays in the Algarve. It’s one of the most popular boat tours in the Algarve as it’s a lot of fun for families and groups of friends. Sail with us to the most beautiful and hidden spots of the coast of the Algarve and observe the magnificent rock formations and the paradisiacal white sandy beaches. “Leaozinho”, our most beloved boat, complies with the latest safety and rescue equipment according to the EU regulations. At the beginning of the cruise, our crew will share important safety information. On board, you’ll find your comfortable seating place in the mid-deck or the shade of the deck. In the “Pirate Bar” we can serve you a variety of drinks. At 10 o’clock in the morning this BBQ trip from Albufeira starts in the new Marina of Albufeira. The pirate boat will head from Albufeira to the Atlantic, passing by Praia do Castelo and Praia da Galé. We’ll then pass the Fisherman’s village of Armação de Pêra, the Rockchapel Senhora da Rocha and reach the beaches of Marina and Benagil. The beaches of Marina and Benagil are worldwide known for their impressive rock formations. These rockformations can be enjoyed perfectly from the perspective of the boat. Then, we’ll anchor next to an isolated beach. Here you’ll have some free time for a refreshing swim and enjoy the beach. Our friendly crew will serve you a typical Portuguese BBQ on the beach. When we’re finished, we’ll return to the Marina of Albufeira.
