Departing Edinburgh, you travel north-west for your first stop of the day at magnificent Stirling Castle*, one of Scotland’s most historically significant castles, sitting high on volcanic rock and offering wonderful views of the surrounding landscape. You will have time to visit the castle and learn of the exploits of key historic figures including William Wallace, Robert the Bruce and Mary Queen of Scots. With lots of interesting things to see and do here, the Stirling Castle experience is a must for any visitor to Scotland.  You then continue on, past medieval Doune Castle, to the pretty town of Callander, situated on the banks of the River Teith in Stirlingshire, where you will have a chance to stop to enjoy some lunch. From here we enter The Trossachs National Park, also known as “The Highlands in miniature” for its abundance of lochs, mountains and forests, and famous as the homeland of legendary outlaw, Rob Roy MacGregor.  You will then reach the bonnie banks of Loch Lomond, one of the prettiest and largest lochs in the whole of Scotland. Here you can enjoy an hour long cruise* taking in spectacular views of the loch’s many islands and the surrounding mountains. Alternatively, take a stroll through the picturesque loch-side conservation village of Luss, with its quaint houses, cafes and stunning views across the loch’s western shoreline. Esta excursión le da la oportunidad de pasar un día en la naturaleza en un pequeño grupo (de 2 a 10 personas) y un guía privado. Primero de todo, haremos una parada en el pueblo de Alforja, donde tendrá tiempo de visitar la iglesia y tomar algo. La segunda parada se realizará en el pueblo de la Mussara, un pueblo fantasma, desierto desde 1959, desde el cual tendrá vistas panorámicas de toda la comarca del Baix Camp. A una altura de 1.000 metros podrá contemplar las ruinas del pueblo y la iglesia medio derruida.  Para finalizar la mañana, haremos una parada en la charca de agua llamada "els Gorgs" para que pueda darse un baño refrescante y descansar.​ A continuación, haremos otra parada en el pueblo de Prades donde tendrá 1:15h para pasear y sacar fotos. Podrá traer su propia comida o ir a comer a un restaurante del pueblo. Se dará cuenta de que está rodeado de roca rojiza utilizada para construir paredes, casas y la iglesia. Your Journey: Departing from Queenstown, a knowledgeable driver will provide an informative commentary on the points of interest along one of the world’s most picturesque drives – The Milford Road. Stop for some great photo opportunities along the way, before enjoying a two hour cruise aboard one of our specially designed small boats in Milford Sound. Sit back and relax as you cruise the length of the 16km fiord, out past St Annes Point Lighthouse, while skipper highlights points of interest along the way, including the mighty Lady Bowen Falls, Lion Mountain, Copper Point, Seal Rock and Stirling Falls.  Keep an eye out for local wildlife that can be found in the fiord, with New Zealand fur seals and dolphins spotted regularly, while occasionally the rare Fiordland Crested Penguin makes an appearance when in season. During the return journey we will have a brief refreshment break in the lakeside town of Te Anau.
