Der Wein ist frisch, fruchtig und sehr reich, ganz im Stil eines Burgunders. Seine Farbe ist goldfarben und klar, er besticht mit Aromen von Aprikosen, Birnen und grünem Apfel, mit einer Note von Nuss, Haselnuss und weissen Blüten, und er ist leicht buttrig im Abgang. Die Vanille-Eiche-Note ist sehr subtil und gut eingebunden, dazu kommt noch ein Hauch von Zitrone. Am Gaumen ist es ein komplexer und sehr ausgewogener Wein mit ausgeprägter Frische und einem langen Abgang.

In der Nase sehr ausgeprägte Aromen von Kirsche und Brombeere. Am Gaumen fruchtig, samtig mit einem feinem Tanningerüst. Passt zu: feinen Desserts mit Schokolade und roten Früchten.

Ein glänzendes Strohgelb mit goldenen Reflexen erzeugt in der Nase ein intensives, aromatisch vielschichtiges Bouquet von saftig gereiften, exotischen Früchten, feiner Würze, mineralischen Anklängen, zarten Holznoten und den leicht rauchigen Aromen der Fassvergärung. Am Gaumen ist der Wein vollmundig, kraftvoll, sehr elegant und geschmeidig, mit gleichwohl frischer Säure, die ihm zusätzliche Länge und Lebendigkeit verleiht, grossartige Balance von Frucht und Holz, aufgefächert in all die feinen aromatischen Facetten, die wir bereits in der Nase wahrgenommen haben. Passt zu kalten und warmen Vorspeisen, gebratenem Fisch, Jakobsmuscheln, hellem Fleisch und Geflügel, Kalbsfrikassee, Königinnenpasteten, mit Käse überbackener Blumenkohl oder andere feine Gemüse .
