Barcelona is known as the capital of Modernism and the place where the famous architect Antoni Gaudí worked and lived. Gaudi, one of the greatest innovators of his time, has left behind numerous treasures for the discerning tourist to discover in Barcelona. The Sagrada Familia is one of the most visited buildings in the world. Discover this magnificent modernist building in the guided tour inside the basilica. We will visit the astonishing interior of this church, where vaults reach seventy meters. Antoni Gaudí designed a Latin cross plan with five aisles, extremely rich in ornamentation and symbolism. We will also visit the Sagrada Familia museum, where you will see drawings, plaster models and pictures about the history and development of this basilica from its early beginnings to the present day. The museum will also give valuable information about Antoni Gaudi´s life and career. At the end of the museum visit, the guide will leave you at the entrance of the elevator to the Passion facade Towers, you have admission included. Take the elevator up the tower to admire the astonishing views of the city from there.
This self-guided tour allows for full immersion into the twin Cities of Perth and Fremantle, and also enjoying Perth’s natural asset of the Swan River. Finish this relaxing day by catching the late afternoon cruise back to Perth along the pristine Swan River, sampling local winesif desired before arriving back into Perth along with million dollar views of Kings Park, Yacht Clubs and the new Elizabeth Quay. Day 1 You leave Edinburgh and head north across the River Forth towards the Highlands. You make a short stop in one of the quintessential Scottish towns bordering the highland fault line, before crossing into the Cairngorms National Park. There are numerous options on route including a famous whisky distillery, stunning caledonian forest walks, ancient standing stones, world-changing battlefields, and beautiful lochs. What you do today will be decided by your group and the ever- changing Scottish climate. Ample time for lunch will be given en route. You then continue north and arrive in Inverness, where you’re dropped off at your accommodation. The evening is free for you to explore the capital of the Highlands. Day 2 After a leisurely breakfast you’re picked up from your accommodation and taken into the surrounding countryside. You travel to Loch Ness where you have the chance to take a boat trip along the loch or stay on shore and visit the impressive ruins of Urquhart castle overlooking the loch. Our journey continues south through the Great Glen past Ben Nevis, the highest mountain in UK and Fort William. You stop for lunch along the way before arriving in Glencoe. The return journey continues over the wild and remote Rannoch Moor and into the lowland scenery around Stirling, before finally reaching our starting point of Edinburgh.
