What to Expect: Check-in: You will be greeted by our friendly staff who will help you to book flights and answer any questions. Briefing/Training: The flight instructor will instruct you about the process of the flight, as well as the rules and safety standards. You will be shown flying postures to acquire during the flight. A quick video will be played to first time flyers in addition to the training from the instructor. Gear Up: The flight instructor will give the you all the flying gear necessary and show you how to properly use it. Flight: At the beginning, the flight instructor will help you to get adjusted to the wind flow. When you are accustomed to it, the instructor will help you safely fly in the wind stream. If you can fly well, the instructor will rise with you in the air up to 10 feet in height. Yeoman Warder Tours are included in the Tower of London Ticket Price The Royal Beasts The last thing you’d expect to see at the Tower of London would be Lions, Tigers, Elephants and Polar Bears, but for over 600 years the Royal Menagerie played host to these and many more. The Prisoners Exhibition Aside from the Crown Jewels the Tower of London is probably best known for being a prison. Prisoners have been at the Tower almost since it was built and the new interactive displays in the Prisoners exhibition help children and adults explore their stories. The Ravens ‘the kingdom and the Tower will fall if the six ravens ever leave the Tower of London’, well according to legend anyway. Whether this is true or not the ravens have become on of the Tower’s most famous sites, just make sure you see at least 6 when you visit! The Tower Green Believe it or not being executed inside the Tower of London was considered a privilege for those of high rank. The Tower Green contains a permanent memorial for those ‘lucky’ enough to be executed there. The Medieval Palace Being the oldest part of the Tower of London, the Medieval Palace contains amazing interiors that you won’t see anywhere else. here you can experience what life might have been like in a luxurious medieval household. Here you can find the Madrid City Tour Map. With one ticket, you will be able to hop on and off the bus all day along the route of your choice or change to another, admiring the architectural and cultural magnificence of Madrid, with the commentaries offered through a headphones audio system in fourteen different languages. Kensington Palace, Parliament Square and Westminster Abbey: Our tour begins with a panoramic drive up to Kensington Palace, former home of Diana, Princess of Wales. Well see the Royal Albert Hall and Albert Memorial before heading down to Trafalgar Square, along Whitehall, past the Prime Minister's Residence at Downing Street and around Parliament Square, where we'll see Big Ben, the Houses of Parliament and, of course, Westminster Abbey. Buckingham Palace and the Changing of the Guard: We head to St James' Park and Buckingham Palace to see the colourful ceremony of the Changing of the Guard. Accompanied by a military band, a detachment of the Queen's Foot Guard march to Buckingham Palace in their bearskins and red tunics, and a change with the Old Guard. The tour finishes at Trafalgar Square at around 12.00pm. Your guide will be happy to give you suggestions for lunch and transportation back to your hotel. Alternatively, why not visit the site of the last great Royal Wedding, St Paul's Cathedral - join our afternoon City of London tour, departing Trafalgar Square at 1pm. Occasionally there may not be a Changing of the Guard, on these occasions we will visit Horseguards Parade.
