In September 1955, Scotty Moore drove the car into a passing vehicle. Elvis had the upholstery replaced, the body work retouched and the roof painted white. The car remains on permanent display at Graceland.
The Chevrolet Corvette C1 was the first generation of the Corvette sports car by Chevrolet.
