Egyptian Spice Bazaar Golden Horn Tour Blue Route: The Golden Horn Tour is the best way to explore Istanbul’s famous Golden Horn, taking you to a number of the city’s most popular places of interest around this sea inlet in the shape of a horn. The blue route takes you through the historic old town of Sulta nahmet into the quaint suburbs of Istanbul and around the Golden Horn. Along the tour you will learn about the strategic importance the Horn had to the city, as well as seeing the sights and key surrounding landmarks that span over two thousand years. Along the route you can use the hop-on hop-off facility to explore Topkapi Palace, Hagia Sohpia, and the old great wall of Constantinople, Aynalıkavak Palace and a 4th century Roman Aqueduct. There is also a cable car, a miniature town, a Dolphinarium, the Rahmi Koc Museum and the Egyptian Spice Bazaarto discover. After boarding, sit comfortably and you can also order from a wide selection of refreshments. You will be provided with a route map displaying famous monuments and points of interest. First the cruise will pass by the Rudolfinum, under Charles Bridge and on your right you will have a spectacular view of Prague Castle. Take a picture and enjoy the monumental panorama with St. Vitus Cathedral. Then your cruise will continue past Kampa Island to the old river locks. On the other side of the river you can see the National Theatre. When entering the river locks, you can count how many penguins there are – a sculpture by an art group. On the other side of the locks you will see the famous Dancing House and the cruise will pass under multiple Prague bridges and past the Emmaus Monastery. After reaching the Vyšehrad cliff and Podolí waterworks the boat turns and heads back. On the way to the dock you will pass by the Straka Academy, the Civic Swimming Pool and Prague Metronome. Finally, you will approach the complex of historic buildings of the Na Františku Hospital at the end of the cruise.

Penguin Beach The exhibit’s 1200 sq metre pool is four times bigger and three times deeper than the Zoo’s old penguin pool and will hold 450,000 litres of water. Our large demonstration area turns feeding time in to an even bigger spectacle than before. Penguin Beach Live will feature twice daily feeds where visitors can watch the birds diving for their food. Penguin Beach will be a breeding facility for colonies of Humboldt, macaroni, black-footed and rockhopper penguins and will include a special penguin nursery. This will include a chick incubation unit and a pool where the youngsters can learn how to swim.
