The platform top ottoman base features gas lift arms which makes it easy and simple for the base to be lifted. This base is upholstered in a crushed velvet fabric, the total base depth is approximately 14 Inch with a generous 11 inch depth of internal storage space. The mattress and headboard is not included but can be purchased seperately. A headboard can be added to either end of the base, giving you the option to choose which side the lid will open.
