Your return train ticket from Paris-Caen is NOT included.  You should aim to arrive at Caen railway station by 09:00 on weekdays, 10:00 on Saturdays and 11:00 Sundays **. You will be picked up by your guide from your arrival at the MAINLINE RAILWAY STATION in Caen:  Please note that your guide will be waiting in the main hall of the Caen Railway Station.Follow the signs ‘SORTIE Place de la Gare’ to go to the main hall. Your guide will be near the ‘Point de Rencontre’ sign and will have a board marked Memorial de Caen.   You will be dropped off at the station at around 18:30 from October to March and at around 19:30 from April to September to connect with trains back to Paris.   Practical information: please wear appropriate shoes and clothes. It can be windy along the beaches and temperatures can be cool even during the summer.   Sunday D-DAY TOUR information: Please note that from 28th January to 31st March and 1st October to 31st December, on Sundays the guided visit of the Memorial de Caen Museum will last 30 minutes. This is due to the fact that on Sundays during this period, the earliest train from Paris arrives at Caen around 11:00 and the departure of the guided tour of the D-DAY landing sites is at 13:00. Your Hot Air Balloon adventure begins when you meet your Pilot and Flight Crew. The flights meet approximately a 1/2 hour before sunrise. At the launch site, your flight crew will brief you on your upcoming balloon adventure. Then, you will watch with awe as your balloon takes shape before your eyes, ultimately standing more than 10 stories tall. Once fully inflated and ready for take off, you climb into the gondola and begin the adventure of a lifetime. During your flight you will get a spectacular bird's eye view of the gorgeous Red Rock Mountains and the famous Las Vegas Strip. You will drift silently over the Vegas Valley with 360 degree, unobstructed views of the world famous Las Vegas Strip, Red Rock Conservation Area and surrounding suburbs. After drifting serenely for approximately an hour you prepare for landing. Once on the ground, you will indulge in the oldest of ballooning traditions, a champagne toast, and revel in the peace, tranquility and beauty that you never before knew existed. For ballooning light winds are required, good visibility and no precipitation. You will fly at approximately 1000 feet. The flights are approximately one hour in length, however you are required you for up to 4 hours in total for the entire adventure. Since you will fly with the prevailing winds, the flight patterns and landing sites vary due to the changing wind directions. There is very little feeling of movement or sensation of height. Due to insurance restrictions Vegas Balloon Rides cannot accept passengers under the age of 10, women who are / or may be pregnant, or those with heart, back or knee problems. Should your flight be canceled by Vegas Balloon Rides due to inclement weather conditions, you simply will need to call the office on the number provided on the voucher and reschedule your flight.

Loose articles will not be permitted on rides. Wheelchair and Stroller Hire: Wheelchairs are available for day hire. The wheelchairs are available on a first come first service basis, and must not pass the entry / exit turnstiles. A valid ID has to be provided to hire the wheelchairs. The ID will be returned to the guest once the wheelchair is returned and is damage free (or the same state as when it was leased).
