Eine fruchtige Note lässt schwarze Johannisbeere erkennen, dann sehr deutliche Würznoten von schwarzem Pfeffer und Muskatnuss, gefolgt von Unterholz und Humus. Im Mund ist er frisch, komplex und reichhaltig. Die Tanninstruktur ist dicht, so wie es sich für einen Sangiovese gehört, der einem ausgezeichnetem Boden entstammt. Der Abgang ist lang und harmonisch, mit einer angenehmen Spur von Edeltabak. Passt zu: Wildbret oder reifem Käse.
